Donna and Alex have been through a lot.

Black Ink Crew” star Donna has had an interesting love life since she’s been on the show. In fact, her past relationship with ex-boyfriend Moe resulted in a lot of drama. Moe was so heated after he found out Donna had been messing around with Alex that he confronted her in front of everyone.

When it comes to Donna and Alex, their first time together went viral. This is because the couple got intimate in a public restroom. The video caused a lot of discussions. And plenty of people took to social media to call them out. Donna felt like she received most of the backlash though. She also said that she could have committed suicide if she wasn’t able to process the criticism she was receiving. Regardless, Alex and Donna made it through the controversy and became even closer.

In fact, their relationship got pretty serious. And while their relationship has had its ups and downs, they are in a very good place. Not even Donna’s brief side relationship with Tati would keep Alex from proposing to her during the latest season of the show.

Alex apologizes.

Of course, the proposal comes after Donna called Alex out for not proposing sooner. It was imperative that she put her foot down because she doesn’t want to play around about settling down. Since Alex has been trying to keep things good with Donna lately, some were surprised when he took to social media hours ago to issue a public apology to her.

He wrote, “I want to sincerely apologize to Donna for not being the man that I was when we first started dealing with each other. I’ve been dishonest, lacked communication amongst other situations and I just wanna say that I’m sorry & I will be the man that I’m destined to be & give you the world that you deserve. I love you Big Mama.”

Alex also made it clear in the caption that he’s not revealing what he did that warranted the apology, “Don’t ask what I did, just know I’ma do better!!”

Donna responded and wrote, “I love you and I know we can be everything.”
