“Love & Marriage: Huntsville” star Kimmi Scott usually tries to stay out of the drama. So she hasn’t gotten involved in the drama between the Holts and the other Scotts. In fact, both Kimmi and Maurice have attempted to be peacemakers. But it hasn’t been easy. And on the current season, they have been called out for not choosing a side. Tempers even flared between Kimmi and Miss Wanda.
Although the season two premiere was just last week, Kimmi did have a little bit of a situation with Melody Holt’s friend Destiny Williams.
While Kimmi was attending Melody’s baby shower, Destiny confronted her. She was feeling some type of way about Kimmi’s past comments about her husband La’Berrick Williams. On the previous season, La’Berrick made some comments about the Comeback Group that Kimmi wasn’t here for during game night.
He said, “The Comeback Group is a great idea and a great initiative but it doesn’t even exist. Who owns the Comeback Group?”
Kimmi spoke up and said that the three couples own the company and it does exist. Later in her green screen interview, Kimmi said that she doesn’t know Destiny and La’Berrick but La’Berrick’s restaurant Jells 4 Ever BBQ makes “good chicken.”
Kimmi told Destiny that she was honest when she said she didn’t know them. Later on, Destiny would shade Kimmi while talking on the microphone at Melody’s baby shower by saying Kimmi tried it coming for her “baby.”
This caught Kimmi completely off guard.
On the upcoming episode, Kimmi will return the shade. When she shows up to an event where Destiny and La’Berrick are in attendance, she avoids speaking to both. Of course, Destiny notices.
In a green screen interview, Kimmi says, “I’ve just recently met Destiny and I give you what you give me. If I feel like you’re coming to me sideways, then I come to you sideways. If you’re not prepared to handle it, don’t bring it to my doorstep.”
