Tamar Braxton is currently in the headlines due to some devastating news. According to The Blast, Tamar was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital after she was found unresponsive. Sources tell the website that they believe this was a suicide attempt. Tamar was found by her boyfriend David Adefeso.
It’s also being reported that this occurred at the Ritz Carlton Residences in Downtown LA.
After David found Tamar, he called 911. It’s being reported that he said Tamar had not only been drinking, but she took an unknown amount of prescription pills.
As of now, Tamar is stable but still unconscious. It’s also being reported that she is under a 24-hour watch.
Tamar and David were set to do another episode of their YouTube show on Thursday night, but sources claim Tamar may have been upset after she saw the trailer that was released for her new show, “Get Ya Life.” Apparently, Tamar did not like the way she was portrayed in the trailer. She’s been trying to focus on being more positive in her life, and she doesn’t feel as if the trailer showed that.
It’s being reported that Tamar isn’t on the best terms with WE tv. And she’s been trying to get out of the contract she has for years now. But she’s been unsuccessful.
She also expressed on Twitter recently that she believes that she and her family have been severely underpaid. She wrote, “Are we going to talk about pay…. I 100 percent wrote the theme song… where is the coin… our show is on Netflix…. where is the coin… 10 years on The air… we make 75 percent LESS than the kardashians. How come there are no villains on that show?”
Tamar said more, too. When fans said they miss when BFV wasn’t full of drama, Tamar wrote, “& STILL more DRAMA till this day! but that’s what happens when it’s all white executives having all the power & telling your black family stories. I WILL get justice for my family and all other black reality shows with the narrative of ABP & negativity. it’s TERRIBLE& I’m tired.”
