Monique and Candiace clashed over Ashley.

Real Housewives of Potomac” star Monique Samuels had a very eventful upcoming season. She’s been in the headlines for months now due to her altercation with Candiace Dillard. At the end of the previous season, the two women actually hugged it out at the reunion. They clashed over the fact that Candiace felt like Monique was siding with Ashley Darby amid their feud. She even believed Monique “chastised” her in front of Ashley.

Monique didn’t see things that way. She just wanted to tell Candiace she was turning into another Ashley by being so critical of Ashley’s attempts to get pregnant.

But Candiace and Monique would only fall out again after Candiace invited Charrisse Jackson-Jordan to her anniversary party. The issue was Monique wasn’t given a heads up first. Monique fell out with Charrisse during Charrisse’s final season on the show.

Monique felt as if Charrisse let her take all the blame for Sherman Douglas’ ex-wife coming around the group.

Gizelle criticized Monique for assaulting Candiace.

As things got worse between Candiace and Monique, it eventually got violent. And Monique put her hands on Candiace. Gizelle Bryant was not here for this. And she wanted Monique away from her after it all went down.

In fact, while discussing the situation with Monique and the others, Gizelle says, “We have been able to hold ourselves above the stereotypes. And in five minutes, she took it away…I by no means want to be near you.”

Monique responded to Gizelle’s comments weeks ago. But she had more to say recently. And she broke down why she feels Gizelle is a hypocrite. She also accused Gizelle of tearing down black women.
