Wanda lets Kimmi know she isn’t here for fake people.

LaTisha is preparing for her speaking engagement with Goal Girl Unlimited. Despite Marsau not present to support LaTisha, Tisha has her mom Wanda, Kimmi, and her friend Apryl in attendance. She’s nervously excited to give this speech. As it gets underway, Marsau shows up with flowers. Seeing Marsau show up means a lot to LaTisha.

Afterward, Marsau congratulates LaTisha and gives her the flowers. He even greets Wanda. However, their talk didn’t go too well as Wanda points out the fact he doesn’t have his wedding ring on.

Next, LaTisha introduces Wanda to Apryl. Apryl turns their conversation away from Melody in spite of Wanda’s best efforts to bring her up. When Kimmi comes over to their group, Wanda then says she doesn’t like fake people. She asks Kimmi if she knows why Melody is still mad at LaTisha, and Kimmi says she can only speak for herself.

At this point, Wanda accuses Kimmi of having a “stank attitude” and Kimmi tells Wanda to shut up.

Vanessa brings up a scandalous allegation from Marsau.

Meanwhile, Melody’s mom Vanessa stops by to see Martell, Melody, and her newest grandbaby. Martell tells Vanessa that they need help in the form of a nanny. Things get tense when Vanessa brings up how Marsau claimed there’s a s*x tape featuring Vanessa. Marsau’s comments angered Melody. Apparently, Marsau’s brother Mark and Vanessa knew each other professionally and grew a friendship. Vanessa’s adamant they never dated. Melody says Vanessa dealt with Mark as he’s a contractor and Vanessa interacts with contractors for Holt and Holt.

Vanessa says she lost all respect for Marsau over this and Melody’s ready to confront him.

At Maurice’s house, Monster’s video chatting with his mom Kiwuha. Monster misses his mom but she’s coming to Huntsville soon. Next, Maurice talks to Kiwuha and she’s still planning to move to Huntsville. Maurice talks to Kiwuha’s husband Xavier and he’s excited to make the move. Interestingly enough, Xavier used to date Maurice’s sister when they were in high school.

Cedarric has an idea.

Later on, Marsau and Maurice are playing basketball with Ceddaric. Afterward, Marsau vents about LaTisha going to school down in Auburn. He has to balance the kids with his other professional endeavors. Cedarric and Maurice tell him LaTisha does that too more often then he does.

Next, Marsau brings up how he got a police report against Martell. Martell accused Marsau of sending bloggers his tax returns on social media. During the confrontation, things almost got physical and Martell called him a b****. Cedarric convinces Marsau to let him bring in Martell for a talk to squash their beef.

It’s Kimmi’s birthday and Maurice is taking her out for dinner. During their dinner, they talk about taking their honeymoon. Between Kimmi working, Maurice studying for the bar, and Monster living with them, their time is limited. Next, Maurice lets Kimmi know Kiwuha coming to Huntsville with Xavier and she wants the four of them to sit down for dinner. Kimmi’s seemingly okay with it as things are better between her and Kiwuha.

Maurice then surprises Kimmi by getting her son Jaylin to show up.

Nothing’s accomplished when Cedarric brings Martell and Marsau together.

Cedarric and Marsau are in the gym when Martell walks in. The week prior, Martell and Marsau almost fought in this very gym. But Cedarric manages to get the two of them to talk. Cedarric’s goal is to get the two gentlemen to at least be cordial with one another.

During the conversation, Martell brings up how he didn’t file a police report on Wanda after she seemingly threatened him and Melody on social media.

However, Marsau feels Martell is more than capable of acting on his threats.

Martell then brings up how Marsau sent a blogger his tax information. However, Marsau says he didn’t do it. In his interview, Marsau says he didn’t “post his stuff” to social media, and says LaTisha posts her “stuff” instead.

Overall, Marsau says Martell needs to apologize to him for what happened at the gym last week. Instead, Martell leaves saying Marsau should thank him for using words instead of violence their last interaction.

Marsau vents to LaTisha.

When Marsau gets home, he tells LaTisha about what happened with Cedarric and Martell. He brings up Martell’s accusations of tax returns and LaTisha says they don’t talk to bloggers. LaTisha then asks if he defended her about being escorted out of Melody’s event. Marsau says he did but brings up how LaTisha should’ve never gone there in the first place. He tells LaTisha to take responsibility for this.

At their Holt & Holt office, Melody walks in as Martell’s wrapping up a meeting with clients for a custom home. He brings up his previous confrontation with Marsau that happened at the gym a week ago. Martell says he didn’t want to mention it to Melody as she’s been busy with her business dealings and their new baby. When the clients leave, Martell brings up his meeting with Cedarric and Marsau. He confirms he went off on Marsau, calling him a b****.

Melody says LaTisha and Marsau were never sincere friends with them and only latched on when they were in need.

At his cigar lounge, Marsau has Jaylin on the job site with him. As Marsau’s giving Jaylin advice about commercial real-estate, Melody walks in.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger.
