It’s lie detector day and everyone’s nervous.
The episode begins with the couples waking on day 9 in the boot camp house. It’s one day before they decide to stay together or leave the boot camp house apart. To make things even more dramatic, it’s lie detector day and everyone is nervous.
Willie and Shanda are outside talking about what’s coming up. They want to leave together but both don’t know what to expect. Meanwhile, Medina and Tahiry are by the pool talking about what they should expect from the lie detector test. Inside, De’Von asks Phaedra how she feels about Medina talking to all the women in the house. Phaedra says she doesn’t care as she doesn’t “micromanage” him. Things get tense when Hazel-E walks by and assumes De’Von is talking to Phaedra about their relationship.
This causes an argument between the couple. Dr. Ish and Judge Toler watch this occur from another room and suspect they are acting out due to their nervousness. Things get so tense, Hazel threatens to throw a drink on De’Von and security gets between them before things escalate.
Phaedra tries to calm things down, telling Hazel he didn’t talk about her with Phaedra.
Vado returns for the lie detector testing.
Dr. Ish calls everyone to the living room and Vado’s present as he’s going to participate. Vado can’t ask Tahiry his final question but Tahiry can ask him one. Hazel-E also gets excused from the lie detector test.
Next, Judge Toler explains how the testing process will work. She then gets the questions they each want to ask their partners. Phaedra wants to ask if Medina desires a sexual relationship with her. Medina wants to ask Phaedra if she wants to be in a sexual relationship with him.
Shanda wants to ask if Willie plans to be faithful to her moving forward. Willie’s question is if Shanda can truly forgive him for the infidelity. Hazel-E’s question is whether or not De’Von is with her for the clout. De’Von’s question is whether or not Hazel-E views him as a little boy.
Tahiry wants to know if Vado is truly remorseful for the incident.
Finally, half the group gets strapped into their lie detector tests while the others hang out outside. Hazel begins to cry outside while talking to Medina and Shanda. Shanda feels bad for Hazel saying guys out there today are clout chasers.
Vado answers yes to Tahiry’s question and in his interview says his behavior was unacceptable. Meanwhile, Phaedra tells everyone outside after her questioning that she doesn’t want to have a sexual relationship with Medina right now. She jokingly says her loving is too good and makes men crazy.
During their tests, Shanda answers yes to her question and Medina says he wants a s*xual relationship with Phaedra. Meanwhile, De’Von and Hazel talk about their argument from earlier in the day.
After everyone takes their lie detector tests, Shanda asks Medina how he would feel is Phaedra answers no to her question. Medina says “he’s not a priest.” Medina doesn’t know if he wants to continue the relationship if she isn’t willing to sleep with him. Lastly, Willie and Shanda are still nervous about how each of them answered.
Everyone gets a “hall pass.”
Later that night, Dr. Ish brings them all together to give them the results. Judge Toler informs everyone that three of them had deception detected by the lie detector tests. However, they won’t learn about their results until the next day.
They then find out they all get a “hall pass” before their final night. The men will go out together to the club and will sleep in De’Von’s room when they get back. The ladies are going to a different club and will stay in Tahiry’s room. Before they leave, De’Von and Hazel have another argument. However, this doesn’t stop them from going out. The night gets off well for the ladies. The guys are a bit subdued.
De’Von threw quite a few shots back. Medina and Willie notice De’Von might have had a few too many drinks. As this happens, the ladies do their best to curve advances from other men. De’Von and Willie got approached by girls and Willie’s talking to them. Willie said he’s there to have a good time. Medina’s also finding time to entertain conversations. De’Von starts shooing away the women. He said was no one was going to ruin the night or their relationships.
Eventually, everyone is on their way back to the club. On the way back, Willie suspects that De’Von’s drunk. On the bus, De’Von throws-up on himself. He walks in shirtless and crashes on the bed in his bedroom. Producers call for help as Hazel-E walks in. Hazel sees blood on his pants and begins to think someone was dancing on him, which wasn’t the case.
