Joe calls Tahiry a liar.
Joe Budden had a lot to say after Tahiry made some explosive accusations. During a recent interview, Tahiry was asked if Joe was ever violent towards her while they dated. And she said that she was left with “fractured ribs” and a “broken nose.”
On a recent episode of the “Joe Budden Podcast,” Joe got a lot off his chest.
He started off by saying, “Incidents like these taint true victims of domestic violence. It adds a few layers.”
Joe added, “For me, this was nasty and disgusting, This was nasty and disgusting and for too many years because I’ve chosen to remain quiet about certain things just so you could continue a certain narrative. Those days are over now. What was alleged here…let me start with this young lady is a liar, a cancerous, toxic liar. I’m uncertain why she’s lying this way, I’m not certain if she’s misspeaking. If she has a false recollection of things. I’m not sure what it is but she said some things that didn’t sit right in my soul and I’m here to talk about it.”
He says they were both toxic to each other.
Joe went on to say they were both toxic, “Young lady, we were toxic. We’re talking about 24/25-year-old Joe, 25-year-old, 26-year-old you. We were toxic to each other. And I’m glad that the climate has changed and we’re able to have some conversations today that we couldn’t have back then because today I’m very comfortable saying you were abusive. You used to beat my a*s. You threw sh*t, you hit me, you kicked me, you did a whole bunch of sh*t that’s not normal for a man speak out about because it makes you appear less manly. But that was a really toxic, toxic situation. None of that needs to be for public consumption but before you go to bed tonight, ask yourself how many times you put your hands on me, how many times you’ve pulled knives on me, how many times you’ve threatened me. At 25, I didn’t know that was toxic.”
He also said that he’s not the person who broke Tahiry’s nose, “You said or made it seem as though your nose was broken as a result of abuse by Joe. You were not clear in how, and why, and when you got your nose broken. And that Joe had absolutely nothing to do with that. You are a cancerous, toxic, clout chasing liar.”
According to Joe, another man broke Tahiry’s nose.
Joe continued, “You called me when you got into that physical altercation with that gentleman and he punched you in your face and your nose was broken. Why this story is coming up now and how it’s related to me exactly, I’m unclear. But I can tell you what happened since your memory seems to be foggy all of a sudden. I received a phone call, ‘Yo. I’m headed to Sin City nightclub, we gon turn it up.’ You go there, you get in a situation with a guy, he punched you in the face. I receive a phone call…we were on the outs.”
Joe also suspects Tahiry may be in her feelings about him moving on, “I think there may be some resentment that we moved on, separated and then Joe got right. Joe got success, Joe got engaged, Joe had a baby, Joe on his family sh*t. It’s pictures everywhere. Know what happened when those pictures got circulated? Here comes negative, nasty, cancerous a*s you underneath Shade Room comments. ‘Oh congrats. Oh theres’s something that she don’t know.’ Just nasty, nasty sh*t. We saw it. Mental note, no need to address this publicly. That’s not how me and mine move. Thank God for Cynthia. I love you.”
Joe wonders if the backlash Tahiry has been receiving led to her comments.
He added, “But I’m the fall guy still. I’m the guy that you can speak of and instantaneously, this sh*t is all over the place. I’m playing the victim card…why, why, why? Because we watched your abuse on national television and not only that but your lack of accountability for it? And now the comments are not so in your favor because your credibility is just a little…I mean we seen it, we watched it, so what better way to do this than get with…listen man, this sh*t is see-through and transparent for me. And it pains me and sickens me because you are blatantly lying. Who knows that aside from you and I? But okay.”
Joe also wants Tahiry to have morals, “But I have to point out yet again, you’re faking some sh*t for money. You just chasing a bag, it’s a game that you’re playing. It’s okay. I’m not knocking it. But some things have occurred to where it’s like fam, you don’t have to do some of this sh*t for money like stand on something. Have a backbone. Don’t just do whatever a f*ckin producer tells you to do. I bought a mattress from you. Recently. You were selling mattresses. And called me. You hustling. I get it. But when I look at this in totality, it paints a picture. So since that’s where we are, you know what, looking at this on TV, it was odd to me.”
Joe makes more accusations.
He continued, “When I first did Love & Hip Hop, when they asked me to come back, reunion, we bringing everybody back. First thing I said, ask anybody, ‘Listen, I will do it. As long as Tahiry Jose is nowhere involved in this.’ They brought you back on their own recognizance. Since the next season and all you did was show out in front of the camera. All you did was flirt, all you did was attempt to imply things to my son’s mom. Family is so important to me. I’m saying all of this to say, for me when you have been abused, it is not a game. It is a threatening situation. It’s not, ‘This is threatening. But if there’s cameras around, I’m okay.’ It looks clout chasey.”
Joe also accused Tahiry of trying to get him to do other reality shows with her, “You have reached out a million times, ‘Hey, do you want to do Dancing With the Stars? No, Tahiry, I don’t. ‘Hey, do you and Cyn wanna do Marriage Boot Camp? No, Tahiry I don’t. I have known you and tried to shelter myself and my family from your toxic, cancerous sh*t for a very long time. I never told you any of that, I just keep us away.”
Timing is questioned.
He then pointed said that the timing of all this is telling, “I keep us away while you still gallivant along keeping up the narrative that, ‘I turned down a proposal and I’m not f*cking with Joe.’ Newsflash, that’s not your option. That hasn’t been your option since those pills got out the picture, young lady. The timing of it is awkward but not so much after if you heard my last two podcasts. It’s not so much. I come on here and I say what I say about iHeart being a radio station and podcast division. What do you know, all this iHeart sh*t comes out. All of their affiliates, the ad game, the promo game, none of that is lost on me. The fact that they’re able to use you as such a pawn in this low hanging fruit, the fact that you get on that f*cking Jason sh*t with the tears…people that know you, know.”
Tahiry is accused of faking a cancer scare.
Joe also said, “But I’m not gonna allow my name to be used as a stepping stone anytime times get a little difficult for you. I’ve been to your new house. You took that nugget and tried to imply some sh*t to Cyn the whole f*cking season, ‘I got a secret you don’t know’…fam, am I abusive to you or nah? There’s a narrative that’s going around about Joe because all the women who love me publicly sound like they hate me.”
He had more to say about Tahiry’s time on LHHNY, “I know that in my experience with you I have learned about some things that are disturbing that paints your character in a way. And that’s not what I’m here to do. So I won’t address it. I won’t address it in full, all of it. But you faked a cancer scare to be on television. That sounds nuts to say.”
And at this point, Joe wants nothing else to do with Tahiry, “I want nothing to do with you but please stop speaking as if you know me currently cause you do not. We have a very minimal relationship. All you can do is talk about 24-year-old Joe.”
