“Real Housewives of Potomac” fans have had a lot to say on social media since last year. Of course, this is due to Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels’ altercation. Now that the situation has played out on the show, viewers are now seeing the cast’s reaction. It was rumored months ago that Gizelle Bryant was using it to push Monique off the show. And she had backup from Robyn Dixon.
On the latest episode, Gizelle made it clear she would no longer be around Monique. She even brought a bodyguard to the meeting that was held at Karen Huger’s house.
Gizelle also made the altercation into a situation that involves all black women.
Wendy and Robyn agree with Gizelle.
After Gizelle left, Robyn and Wendy Osefo had a lot to say to Monique themselves. And both echoed Gizelle’s feelings.
In fact, Wendy said, “The moment you put your hands on somebody and you perpetuate the narrative that black women continue to be angry and violent, that’s a problem.”
She said more in her green screen interview, “Every day, I am on the frontlines fighting for the rights of people of color, for women, and every day I have people wishing harm upon me and upon my family, and I’ve never, ever, ever retaliated. So she has no excuse.”
Gizelle added, “We have been able to hold ourselves above the stereotypes. And in five minutes, she took it away.”
Well, Karen thinks this narrative is absurd. So she took to social media to set the record straight.
