Candiace and Monique’s altercation has everyone talking.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” fans have been talking about the controversial altercation since last year. In fact, Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard’s violent fallout continues to be a hot topic on social media. Some viewers have even compared it to Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore’s past altercation. Things escalated between the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars years ago at the reunion.
Some women of the RHOA cast felt like Kenya provoked Porsha by yelling at her through a bullhorn. But Kenya felt like there was no justification for Porsha assaulting her.
Porsha was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor battery. However, it was rumored that some of the other peach holders were applying pressure on Kenya to drop the charges. As for Porsha, she was later demoted to a friend of the show for a season.
Some feel Candiace took things too far.
Candiace has taken very similar steps with her situation with Monique. And when she opened up about doing so, she said that Monique needed to be held accountable for her actions. Interestingly enough, the other women on the show think she’s doing a bit too much. While they want Monique to face consequences, they don’t want her locked up. As for Ashley Darby, the thinks Candiace is being hypocritical. Ashley hasn’t forgotten about the knife incident from last season.
Porsha hasn’t forgotten about that incident either. It’s actually one of the reasons why she called out Candiace recently, too.
