Mariah and Buffie are out but Lisa and Kari are back.
There have been a lot of rumors about the upcoming season of “Married to Medicine.” However, a few things have been confirmed. Mariah Huq and Buffie Purselle are out. And while Buffie said it was her call to walk away after a tough first season, Mariah didn’t have a choice. She was forced out. Some fans are furious about this and they have vowed to boycott season 8. In fact, they even created a petition out of support for both Mariah and NeNe Leakes. Their supporters feel they were both wronged by Bravo.
With the departures of Buffie and Mariah, Lisa Nicole Cloud and Kari Wells are back onboard. Dr. Heavenly Kimes revealed that she hasn’t been getting along with Lisa. And she also had some tension with Toya Bush-Harris.
Was Quad demoted?
Fans have also wondered about Quad’s status on the show. It was originally suspected she wasn’t returning. And Heavenly said that Quad wouldn’t be on season 8. But Quad took to social media to make it clear that she did receive a contract. She was just taking her time to sign it.
While she was spotted on the cast trip to Jekyll Island, it’s now being rumored that Quad has been demoted. And she will not be a main cast member in the upcoming season. Blogger The Peach Report Daily recently reported this on Twitter.
As viewers continue to await season 8, many are anticipating Quad will clash with Lisa since Lisa called Quad out on Twitter months ago. Lisa defended Mariah and said there is truth to the allegations regarding Quad and Mariah’s former brother in law.
