Gizelle wants Karen to back off.
Karen and Gizelle’s conversation about Jamal continues. Gizelle is annoyed and feels like Karen needs to mind her business. However, Karen stands by her belief that Jamal lives in Gizelle’s phone. They change the topic and Karen says she is thinking Juan is about to propose because she saw that Gizelle recorded herself walking in front of a jewelry store. Gizelle gets nervous and plays this down. And Robyn says that she refuses to ever propose to Juan. So she will just wait it out and see what happens.
While the ladies go shopping, Gizelle pulls Karen aside and asks her not to ask Robyn when Juan is proposing. She says it’s not a good idea to do this because Juan may be proposing soon. And it should be a surprise to Robyn. Karen takes this as confirmation that Juan is proposing. Gizelle says she didn’t confirm anything, but Karen isn’t buying this. Regardless, Karen promises not to say anything else about Juan and Robyn getting engaged.
Ashley isn’t over Candiace’s actions from last season.
Later on, Gizelle meets Ashley at the bar and tells her she wants everyone to help plan Wendy’s initiation into the group which will basically be scaring Wendy with a fake spider. She also tells Ashley that Juan is going to propose but they will need to make sure Robyn doesn’t find out.
At dinner, Candiace tells the ladies that she is now open to becoming a mother. She came to this conclusion after getting through her altercation with Monique. Ashley then says that this is complicated for her because Candiace gave her a lot of grief after she had a miscarriage. And it hurt Michael that Candiace said Michael fake cried about losing the baby.
In a green screen interview, Candiace says she thought they moved past all of this. So Ashley needs to “shut the f*ck up.”
Candiace apologizes to Ashley.
Karen then gives an update in her marriage. She says the therapy has been going great and all Ray needs from her now is for her to be more aggressive in the bedroom.
Candiace wanting kids comes up again. Ashley says she hopes Candiace understands now that it was hurtful for her to doubt that Ashley was serious about having a baby. Candiace says she understands that now.
Gizelle then says that Ashley used to act like Candiace until she had a baby. Robyn also says she needs Ashley to remember how she “attacked” her family a few years ago. Even though she felt like Ashley was being judgmental, she and Ashley are now in a good place. So it can happen for Ashley and Candiace.
Ashley then says that she never went on Twitter and dragged Robyn. Robyn then says Candiace will drag anyone on Twitter and it’s her “character flaw.” Candiace then sarcastically responds with, “Thanks Robyn…for that.”
Candiace then apologizes for all the pain she’s caused Ashley and her family. Ashley accepts her apology and in a green screen interview, she says she is seeing that Candiace is making some positive changes since her altercation with Monique.
Robyn spills tea about Karen and Ray.
After dinner, Gizelle secretly goes to Wendy’s hotel room with Robyn and Ashley. They drop the fake spiders and snake in Wendy’s bed. They leave and to watch her reaction on one of the producer’s cameras. After she screams the other ladies can’t help but laugh.
Robyn and Gizelle meet by the pool. They discuss the photoshoot for Robyn’s hat line. She says Karen’s photos didn’t turn out good. And she wanted a more “youthful” look that Karen couldn’t deliver. Gizelle says Karen would never be able to deliver that. And at this point, Robyn may not be able to use Karen’s pictures. They also aren’t convinced Ray and Karen actually have a sex life. Robyn says once Karen got drunk and told her she “hates Ray’s d*ck.”
Meanwhile, Karen and Candiace talk. Karen says that she’s proud of how Candiace handled her conversation with Ashley. She knows Ashley is hurt and she will hold on to it for a while. But that’s on Ashley and Candiace can’t change that.
Regardless, Karen thinks Ashley and Candiace can eventually get in a good place. Candiace agrees but she won’t force anything.
Robyn and Gizelle aren’t happy with Ashley’s revelation.
Ashley joins Gizelle and Robyn at the pool. She tells them that she agreed to write a character statement for Monique’s countersuit. And the statement will touch on Candiace throwing a butterknife at her last season. So she’s just going to tell the truth even though Robyn feels Ashley would be “assassinating” Candiace’s character.
Gizelle says it was just a butter knife, but producers then flashback to Candiace actually throwing the knife at her. Ashley says Monique could go to jail and she wrote the statement to keep Monique out of jail because she’s a mother. And Monique’s husband and brother wrote statements saying that they didn’t see Michael grope a cameraman last year. So she feels she owes them. In a green screen interview, Gizelle says Monique “allegedly” got rid of the footage of Michael assaulting the cameraman.
Although Robyn and Gizelle feel like Ashley is wrong to do this, Ashley says she was well within her rights to help Monique.
