Tami Roman’s failed marriage was addressed on “Basketball Wives.”
When it comes to love, “Basketball Wives” star Tami Roman hasn’t had it easy. In fact, her first season on the show she opened up about her failed marriage to Kenny Anderson. She was hurt to learn that Evelyn Lozada slept with him. Although Evelyn said she didn’t know Kenny was married at the time, Tami didn’t buy this. And the two women struggled to get along ever since. This led to many explosive scenes between them, too.
However, Tami has found real love with her husband Reggie Youngblood. They celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary earlier this year.
Though their love is strong, they have hit obstacles while trying to have children. Tami discussed this recently when she appeared on Mike Tyson’s podcast, “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson.”
Tami Roman gave an update on her plans to expand her family with Reggie Youngblood.
After Mike asked Tami if she and Reggie have any kids, she said, “We do not.” She continued, “We’ve tried. We had three miscarriages. Yes and so I just felt like I wasn’t going to put my body through that anymore. So we may get a surrogate. Do it because he doesn’t have any kids so…”
The couple has already taken steps to start the process. Tami said, “I would love to have his you know, baby. We gave it our best shot and now we got the eggs on ice. And we’re gonna, you know, have someone else…but you know, you gotta be ready. You gotta be ready.”
