Mariah Huq’s time on “Married to Medicine” was full of drama.
“Married to Medicine” star Mariah Huq has had plenty of controversial moments on the show. While the first season centered around her tight bond with Quad Webb, things fell apart the following seasons. In fact, at the height of their feud, Quad actually accused Mariah of being on drugs. Quad made the accusation when Mariah didn’t deny the rumors that alleged Quad slept with her former brother in law.
Although Mariah took multiple drug tests to prove she isn’t on drugs, Quad wasn’t moved. And she stood firm on the accusations she made about her former best friend.
Months ago, Mariah said that she believes the drug accusations were used to push her off the show. She did not receive a contract for season 8. Many fans of the show are upset about this. They even created a petition in support of Mariah and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes. Now that both have been removed from their shows, some fans are calling for a boycott of Bravo.
Mariah Huq is preparing for a legal battle.
In the meantime, Mariah has already said she plans to slap production company Purveyors of Pop with a lawsuit. Mariah believes she was kicked off of her own show and not allowed to be involved in the spinoffs due to her race.
After months of silence, Mariah took to social media to give her supporters an update.
