Mariah Huq alleged she’s been mistreated behind the scenes.

Mariah Huq will not be on the upcoming season of “Married to Medicine.” And plenty of fans of the show have had a lot to say about this on social media. After Mariah revealed she did not receive a contract for season 8, she opened up about the situation in a very controversial interview with the Jasmine Brand.

Mariah said that she was mistreated behind the scenes. She alleged that the producers of Purveyors of Pop didn’t want her to wear a hijab in her green screen interviews.

Mariah also alleged that in her contract, it was stated that she would have a say so in the show and the spinoffs. However, she hasn’t been allowed to be involved in important decisions. Now that she’s been removed from the show, Mariah stated that she notices that none of the nonblack creators of Bravo shows have been treated like she has. So she’s starting to wonder if she’s been dealing with these situations because she’s a black woman.

She also revealed that she was in the process of filing a lawsuit against Purveyors of Pop.

Mariah Huq gives an update.
