LaToya makes her debut.
Kenya invites LaToya to her house and Cynthia is surprised because Kenya usually struggles to get along with new people. When LaToya gets there, she asks Kenya how she likes being with a Trinidadian man. Latoya is also Trinidadian. She also says they have a reputation for being crazy and also cheating.
In a green screen interview, Kenya says she really likes LaToya because she’s a breath of fresh air. After LaToya says she’s in the middle of a divorce, Kenya reveals she is still trying to figure out her next move. It’s scary for her. She doesn’t know how Marc would react to divorce papers.
Porsha is on the way home.
It’s the day after Porsha’s arrest. She FaceTimes PJ while Lauren and Diane are there watching the baby. She talks about her time in jail and she says it was rough. But she has no regrets. It was an emotional moment seeing Breonna’s mother.
Drew makes her debut.
Cynthia meets her for a drink. And in a green screen interview, she says Eva introduced them. Eva told her that Drew is one of her good friends.
Drew has been in Atlanta for a year or so now. While it’s family-oriented, it still has enough Hollywood opportunities, too. She says she hasn’t met Kenya despite both of them being actresses. And they may compete for roles in different age brackets. She denies trying to be shady.
Drew says her marriage to her husband Ralph has been a lot of work.
Producers then flashback to Drew’s time at home with her family. Her mother comes in with flowers from Ralph celebrating their six-year anniversary. She met Ralph while she was working on the TLC biopic. He’s an entrepreneur in the tech industry.
Her mother is a pastor. And she’s been in Atlanta since the pandemic started. So it hasn’t been easy to adjust to. Producers flashback to a scene of Ralph and her mother arguing.
Riley graduates.
Kandi is en route to Riley’s graduation. Due to the pandemic, Riley is only able to have two people attend. So it’s just going to be Kandi and Mama Joyce.
In a green screen interview, Kandi said her graduation wasn’t normal either. She was traveling with Xscape at the time and she had to leave as soon as it was over to hop back on a plane.
Dennis and Porsha are having problems, again.
Porsha is back home. She’s having to get right back into the swing of things after her arrest. She tells Diane that the experience made her understand what her grandfather Hosea Williams went through as an activist. She’s thankful that an outside organization is looking into Breonna Taylor’s death.
Dennis has attended protests with her. They are just going with the flow but their arguments have gotten worse.
Kenya and LaToya arrive at Lake Bailey.
When Marlo shows up, it’s a little awkward. And it’s clear Marlo and Kenya still aren’t on the best terms.
Back at Kandi’s home, Kandi gets emotional while looking at Riley’s diploma. She’s so proud of her. Todd gifts Riley with some cash. And this brings a smile to Riley’s face. In a green screen interview, Kandi says she wasn’t able to go to college. So it’s nice to see Riley have that experience.
At Lake Bailey, LaToya tells the ladies about her past as a stripper and meeting a sugar daddy. Marlo finds it interesting how much LaToya and Kenya are getting along.
Tension forms after Drew arrive.
When Drew and Ralph arrive, Mike speaks to both. In a green screen interview, Cynthia says that Mike and Ralph get along very well. In a green screen interview, Kenya doesn’t seem impressed by Drew’s looks. But she does think Ralph is attractive.
While sitting next to Kenya, LaToya tells her that Drew has a “pet on her head.”
After Drew sits on the couch, LaToya is ready to tell Drew why she doesn’t like her. And it’s because of Drew’s character on “The Game.”
Marlo pulls LaToya to the side and warns her not to trust Kenya. She also says that Kenya couldn’t keep a man if “Jesus paid her too.”
Ralph confides in Mike.
Mike and Ralph talk. Ralph says it’s been stressful during the pandemic and having his mother in law at the house hasn’t been easy. He really needs some space so he won’t fall apart and go off. So Mike encourages him to have this conversation with Drew.
The ladies go outside and taste wines from other black-owned wine companies.
Drew opens up about her marriage.
LaToya tells Kenya she wants to set her up with someone. Drew says she shouldn’t do this because Kenya is still married. But LaToya says that people can do whatever they want when they are separated. Drew disagrees and says people should just get a divorce if they want to be with other people.
Drew admits she’s had some problems in her marriage and there were moments they nearly divorced. And Ralph recently left the house and was gone for three days after an argument.
Kenya and Cynthia go into the house to talk. And Kenya says she is ready to move forward to secure custody and file for divorce.
Before Kenya leaves, Marlo tries to hug her and says she still loves her no matter what. Kenya lets her guard down and seems somewhat receptive.
Ralph and Drew clash.
Drew and Ralph discuss the fact that he felt it was okay to leave the house and be away for three days. He never told her where he went. After he says that he left because sometimes he needs to clear his head after an argument, Drew says it’s unacceptable that he didn’t tell her where he was.
So she once again questions where he was. He says he went to the beach and it was outside of Georgia. So Drew asks once again where he went and if he doesn’t tell her, she’s over the conversation.
He finally admits he was in Tampa. But he questions how that information actually helps Drew. She also asks him if he was watching her and the family on a camera. He says no but Drew says this is a lie. She has a picture to prove it.
Ralph then tells Drew to stop being silly or they won’t be able to make it to seven years.
After he once again denies watching everyone on a camera while he was in Tampa, she storms off.
