Gizelle Bryant was dragged at the reunion.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” has plenty of people talking on social media. Weeks ago, it was reported that Gizelle Bryant was in the hot seat during the reunion. While she expected for it to be Monique Samuels catching all the heat in every direction, it didn’t really seem to pan out that way. Instead, Monique made some interesting revelations with her binder. Unfortunately for Jamal Bryant, he wasn’t spared either. And while Monique did a lot of damage herself, Karen Huger applied plenty of pressure to Gizelle, too. In fact, it was Karen’s, “Is Jamal coming?,” finisher that only made the moment tougher for Gizelle.
Social media’s reaction to the reunion has been explosive. Monique’s binder and what came out was discussed everywhere. And while many believed Gizelle just got what she deserved, others feel as if Monique may have gone too far. Regardless, it’s been said that the next part of the reunion will have more controversial moments.
Gizelle Bryant doesn’t want a relationship with Karen Huger.
On part two of the reunion, the drama continues. And it’s clear that Gizelle and Karen may not be able to get back in a good place anytime soon.
After Monique accuses Gizelle and Jamal of faking their reconciliation for television, Karen doesn’t ease up.
In a preview, Andy Cohen asks Karen if she supports Ashley Darby working things out with Michael Darby for the sake of their kids.
Karen expresses her support and she says that she is rooting for things to work for the whole Darby family. She wouldn’t want to see their marriage fail.
Andy then asks her if she has the same feelings about Gizelle and Jamal.
In response to this, Karen says, “I just want the truth with Gizelle. There’s so many allegations around her relationship. And I know Gizelle doesn’t feel this but I’m coming from a good place. I don’t think that it’s reaching her. And that’s okay because we’re not there right now because we’re genuine.”
Gizelle then says, “And we will never be.”
The shade doesn’t let up.
Karen makes it clear that she fine with things the way they are with Gizelle, “I can accept you just like this. In fact, I like our relationship better.”
At this point, Gizelle responds with, “We don’t have a relationship. So that’s what it is.”
Karen questions why Gizelle is responding this way, “Well, you’re very defensive. Why are you so angry?” She continues, “You seem very defensive. You seem very angry.”
Andy goes back to his original question, which is if Karen supports Gizelle and Jamal being back together and making their family work.
Karen answers with, “Absolutely, Andy. I just want it to be a real family.”
Andy then asks Gizelle, “Does it feel good to have Karen in your corner?” An irritated Gizelle says, “She’s full of sh*t. Okay.”
Not to be outdone, Karen replies, “Gizelle, you would know, honey. You trained me well.”
