Kenya Moore is back at odds with Porsha Williams.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore is no stranger to controversy and feuds. Over the years, she’s clashed with multiple cast members. But she doesn’t allow this to cause her to think twice about speaking her mind. Her last big feud to date was with NeNe Leakes.
While Kenya was pregnant, NeNe asked if she was having a buffalo. Kenya took this personally and felt like NeNe was attacking her daughter Brooklyn Daly.
So when Kenya returned to the show last season, they had tension. And at one point, they nearly came to blows. They weren’t able to mend things before NeNe’s departure from the show.
Now Kenya is back in a bad place with Porsha Williams. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, she accused Porsha of acting like “NeNe Jr.” behind the scenes.
“And she’s been taking a lot of pages out of NeNe’s book lately, and not in a good way. Showing up three hours late to the set, the demanding of certain things happen…footage being taken out because she doesn’t like the way she looks. You know, that’s kind of NeNe behavior. So, unfortunately, we have a little NeNe Junior on our set.”
Kenya Moore questioned Porsha Williams’ activism.
Months before that, she seemingly questioned Porsha’s activism on social media. It all started after an Instagram user accused Porsha of being willing to get arrested while protesting for a storyline. Kenya saw this comment and replied with eyeball emojis.
Porsha then called out Kenya with a comment of her own. And she slammed Kenya for responding to someone she felt like was a troll. She told Kenya that she should be supporting another black woman who’s working towards change.
Kenya then fired back and said she will follow “REAL leaders not storylines.”
Interestingly enough, she criticizes Porsha about this on the upcoming episode.
While talking to Kandi Burruss, Kenya brings up Porsha’s latest arrest at a protest. She asks, “Has anyone talked to Porsha? I know she was arrested, again.”
Kandi detects some shade from the question. Before laughing, she says, “Why did you say it like that?”
In response to this, Kenya says, “Cause at this point it just seems like maybe they’re just putting themselves in a position to be arrested.”
Later on, Kenya has a FaceTime conversation with Cynthia Bailey. And it seems as if Porsha’s sister Lauren Williams doesn’t want to see Kenya at an upcoming event.
So Kenya is told she cannot attend at the last minute.
Cynthia says, “Porsha’s sister Lauren is feeling a little apprehensive about you coming.”
It’s at this moment that Kenya gets visibly irritated. She turns to producers and asks them if they knew about this. They say they learned of Lauren’s feelings the same time Kenya did.
Kenya then tells them, “Somebody’s paying for my hair and makeup. I know that.” She continues, “I’m done.”
