The shade continues despite some cast changes.
A lot went down on the “Married to Medicine” trailer for season 8. With Mariah Huq and Buffie Purselle not returning, Anila Sajaa is the new doctor’s wife. While she seems to take to Toya Bush-Harris pretty quickly, she has tension with Dr. Heavenly Kimes just as fast.
In the trailer, the women attempt to get to know Anila. At one point during the conversation, Heavenly decides to ask, “You work?”
In response to this, Anila says, “Yeah, I’m a blogger.”
Heavenly then says, “I didn’t think that was a job.”
Toya Bush-Harris says that she feels like Heavenly was rude but Anila returns Heavenly’s sentiments during a conversation with Toya and Kari Wells. All three women are starting to feel as if they aren’t being respected in the group because they aren’t doctors. And they get this feeling the most from Heavenly.
Anila then tells the others, “Anybody can be a dentist.”
Well, Heavenly responded to Anila’s comment on Twitter. She did so by tweeting her and asking if she could do any of the dental work that she does at her office.
