Porsha Williams had some things to say about the altercation.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams has managed to offend Candiace Dillard. In fact, the “Real Housewives of Potomac” star has been calling out Porsha in her recent interviews. And she’s upset about some of the comments made about the altercation on “Bravo’s Chat Room.”
While discussing the situation with her co-star Gizelle Bryant, Porsha said that she didn’t understand why Candiace was so traumatized. It seemed like to her that not much more happened outside of hair-pulling. Porsha later said that Monique Samuels told her that Candiace just wanted money for a down payment on her new house.
Candiace has responded in a couple of interviews. And she said that Porsha was doing nothing but spreading lies.
Candiace Dillard wishes Porsha Williams wasn’t so opinionated about RHOP.
In a recent interview with People Magazine, Candiace said more.
She said, “You are not in Potomac, okay? Knock, knock, knock. You’re in Atlanta. Stay in Atlanta. That’s the bottom line.” Candiace continued, “This is my thing. I have a lot of opinions about a lot of housewives. You know, I think it’s fair that if you are a part of this franchise, you are or at one time were, you were or are a viewer of the show. They’re entertaining. The women are riveting. We are in a league of our own. And I respect and love the club that we are all in.”
Candiace then said she herself isn’t paid to give opinions about other shows.
“I have opinions but I am not paid in the name of Jesus to comment on anyone else’s melees, sagas, or dramas, okay? I’m going to stick to the rivers and lakes that I know. And that’s Potomac and Porsha, she should just do the same.”
Candiace Dillard brings up the incident involving Phaedra Parks.
She also said that she has no problem with Porsha defending Monique.
“And furthermore, I have no problem with Porsha defending her ‘friend,’ defending, you know, whomever she wishes to defend. But when you tell just flat out lies, you are spreading fairytales and fallacies, it’s time for me to step in. You would think that someone who once got in trouble for repeating things that she did not know about, that she would learn from that and just be quiet. And she has so many great things going on, Porsha is stomping in the streets for the movement of Black Lives Matter, and I respect that. I’ve watched her in awe and respect all season and all these months that she’s been out in the streets stomping for us and working for the plight of Black Americans, the black woman and the black man in this country.”
Candiace continued, “So it’s really just sad and pathetic, you know, to see her getting involved in this way because she’s lying. Don’t lie on me.”
At this point, Candiace thinks Porsha should just mind her business.
“Mind the business that pays you, dear.”
