Martell Holt’s recent accusations are addressed.
Melody Holt’s divorce is playing out on the latest season of “Love & Marriage: Huntsville.” However, some of the drama has also spilled over onto social media as well. During an interview with Dr. Heavenly Kimes, the “Married to Medicine” star asked Melody about the accusations Martell Holt made during his interview with Heavenly. He accused Melody of terminating her pregnancy. And he alleged that she did so because she cheated on him and he’s not convinced the baby was his.
In response to this, Melody said, “I’ve had one abortion that we both decided upon. And there’s no, ‘Oooh, because of something else.’ I can’t believe he even put that narrative out there, to be honest with you.”
She continued, “That’s the first time in my life I’ve been in a position where I felt like I needed to make that decision. You know, like you said, I have four beautiful children. And I’ve never been at a place in my life where I was even confused on should I keep this child or not.”
Melody said the whole thing was shameful, “So the fact that it was exposed by someone who was supposed to protect and then not only exposed by him but also kind of twisted to be something that it wasn’t, I felt like that was very shameful.”
She also gave a timeline, “I knew when I found out I was pregnant, I knew I wasn’t going to be staying with Martell. I left April the fourth and I had the abortion April the third.” She added, “Me making the choice to do that, I knew I was done because, for me, that was huge. I knew I was done.”
Doing LAMH isn’t easy for Melody Holt these days.
When it comes to filming the show now with Martell, Melody said that she feels it can be very toxic at times. And she also responded to the recent Instagram video Martell made. He accused Melody of dropping their kids off with some random babysitter and not really spending much time with them. Melody said the babysitter was actually her best friend who is like an aunt to their children. And on that evening, Martell was actually supposed to take the kids because Melody had a previous engagement. But he told her he couldn’t, so she had to make plans quickly to have her best friend help out.
She also said that she is a great mother and spends plenty of time with their kids.
