Colorism accusations polarized “Basketball Wives” fans.
“Basketball Wives” star OG clashed with other stars of the show on the previous season. In fact, things got so bad between her and Evelyn Lozada that they headed to court. After Evelyn used a laughing monkey emoji on an Instagram post, OG accused her of being racist. In response to this, Evelyn filed a defamation lawsuit against OG. And in response to this, OG countersued for emotional distress.
So as of now, both women aren’t even able to film together. Both cases are still open. However, due to the pandemic, things are moving very slowly.
OG was also at odds with Kristen Scott, Shaunie O’Neal, and Malaysia Pargo. When OG wasn’t allowed to film the reunion on the stage, she said that she was a victim of colorism.
On the current season of the show, they came back to film and nothing had been resolved. So Malaysia and Kristen were hoping they could talk to OG and have a breakthrough.
In the meantime, OG recently had tension with Jennifer Williams and sisters Nia Dorsey and Noria Dorsey-Taggart on the latest episode. And it seems as if things are only going to get worse.
