NeNe Leakes believes Cynthia Bailey’s time on RHOA should have ended.
NeNe Leakes has heard about the drop in ratings for the latest season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” And considering how messy her exit was, she’s probably feeling somewhat vindicated that the numbers have tumbled since she left. While Cynthia Bailey thinks her presence on the show is needed and it gives the show a good balance, NeNe recently said that Cynthia should have been let go a long time ago.
She made the comments during a recent interview with Michelle Brown of Straight From the A.
This was after Michelle asked NeNe if she thinks Cynthia will return for the upcoming season. NeNe said, “No. I mean she shouldn’t have come back many seasons ago.” She continued, “I think she should have been gone that’s what my opinion is. And I think she is gone. I think she’ll say she moved to LA or something like that. And I hope so and I wish her well and all those things but I think that if you ever followed this show since season one, you should see the shift. And you would look at the show and say why certain people are still here and certain people are gone. That tells you just a lot right there.”
NeNe Leakes still believes there is an alliance.
Michelle also asked NeNe about her past comments in which she accused Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss, and Cynthia of being in an alliance. And NeNe said, “You can call it an alliance. That’s really not the right word. They’re really house…that’s what they are. They really are because they are working with a machine to demise another black woman. And that’s how they’re able to stay there. And they’re doing and saying things behind the scenes.”
She also says that two people should have been booted from the show years ago but she’s not naming names. NeNe also didn’t seem impressed by LaToya Ali being added to the show as a friend. NeNe feels like better casting decisions are made on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and that’s shady to her, especially when she’s been hearing how low new people are paid, like LaToya making $1000 an episode according to Adam Ali.
Porsha Williams and Marlo Hampton were also discussed. NeNe has been having lots of success with her new business, the Linnethia Lounge. She revealed that none of the women from “Real Housewives of Atlanta” have been to the venue yet. But Marlo has shared some of the flyers on her social media accounts. She hasn’t seen Porsha which is weird to her since Porsha lives in her neighborhood. But she did reach out to Porsha to show support after Porsha announced her engagement to Simon Guobadia. Although NeNe believes Porsha broke the girl code, she wanted to support Porsha while the backlash intensified.
