Things get interesting between Mia Thornton, Gizelle Bryant, and Robyn Dixon.
Gizelle Bryant‘s text invitation to Mia Thornton didn’t go the way she thought it would. In fact, Gizelle actually irritated Mia. And she breaks this down to Karen Huger on the upcoming episode. Karen says, “Gizelle is famous for saying, ‘Oh, Karen, you know, she doesn’t have any friends.’ But I’m cool with the girls. I really don’t have a problem with Robyn except she does Gizelle’s bidding. And I think she’s up her bush.”
Mia then says, “Oh my God. Don’t get me started on that topic of discussion.”
She goes on to tell Karen that Gizelle sent her a text saying that she and Robyn Dixon wanted to go out for drinks with her. But they don’t want her to bring Karen with her. Mia’s text response was, “Hi Gizelle. Unless you want to discuss business, there’s nothing I have time to ‘talk’ to you about. Would you like for me to connect you with my Assistant to pencil you in this week?”
In a green screen interview, Mia says, “Gizelle was definitely trying to tell me how we were going to maneuver. She was telling me exactly who was coming for drinks and she told me exactly who not to bring. If you didn’t already know, I’m the boss.”
Robyn tells Askale Davis and Wendy Osefo about Mia’s response to Gizelle. And she ends up going off on Mia about it later on in the episode.
