The rumors are addressed.

Kenya Moore opened up more about her issues with Marc Daly on the latest season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” She also didn’t hold back her views on Bolo Gate. And it seemed pretty clear that she and Kandi Burruss were the only two who were a sure bet to return for season 14. However, recently, blogs reported that Kenya was fired and would not appear on the upcoming season.

She addressed the rumor on Instagram Live recently after a follower asked if it was true that she was fired from RHOA.

In response to this, Kenya said, “Someone’s asking me about Housewives. No, the rumors are not true. You guys, it came from some not credible source. The rumors are not true so don’t believe things you hear. Unless you hear it from me, it’s not true. So the rumors are not true about Housewives.”

“Dancing With the Stars” is a lifelong dream.

She also discussed the fact that she will be on the upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars” as well. “I’m here because this is like a lifelong dream for me. My grandmother and I used to watch ‘Dancing With the Stars’ every week when I was in Detroit when I was growing up. Even if I wasn’t there, we would talk on the phone and we would watch it together over the phone. It was her favorite show.” Kenya continued, “She introduced me to dance. We didn’t have money growing up in Detroit so she took myself and my Aunt Lisa who is her child, her daughter, to community classes, free community center classes where we learned to dance. And we had recitals and I remember we had to sell tickets or either…you know how you have to sell candy to earn money for something? So I think we had to get that so we could get money for our costumes and stuff.”

Kenya Moore became teary-eyed while discussing her grandmother.

Kenya added, “But I just remember falling in love with dancing.”

The RHOA star became emotional while discussing her grandmother. “But it just opened my eyes to art and I just fell in love with the discipline and everything it represented. I just felt like my creative side came alive and I felt so happy. So for me, it’s…being here is very nostalgic because it represented a time where my grandmother and I were just two peas in a pod. And you guys know if you watch Housewives I lost my grandmother who raised me four years ago, right after I got married.”

Her grandmother’s death has been really hard for her. “And it was tough. To be here, I wanted her to be here with me and see me all the way through but that didn’t happen. But I’m here for her. And I’m here for my daughter.”
