Brandy Norwood has a new show called “Queens.”
Hazel-E has done a lot since her time on “Love And Hip Hop Hollywood” ended. She’s married with a daughter. And fans saw a glimpse of her relationship with De’Von Waller on “Marriage Boot Camp.” She also appeared on Zeus Network’s “The Conversation” and had another round with longtime foe Masika Kalysha. Hours ago, she caught the attention of Brandy Norwood’s fan base after she came for the actress and R&B singer.
It all started after a clip from Brandy‘s new show, “Queens” went viral. It’s a scripted show on ABC. Eve, Naturi Naughton, and Nadine Velazquez also star. The show is about a hip hop group that reunites when a chance to rise back to the top arises.
In one scene, Brandy and Eve’s characters have a disagreement. They argue over their careers, with Brandy’s character, Naomi saying that she’s nothing to play with because she ruins careers. And another fictional artist on the show named Foxy can verify this.
Hazel-E responded.
Well, Hazel-E felt like this was a shot at real-life rapper Foxy Brown. So she came for Brandy. On Instagram, she wrote, “Ever since Brandy played that lil baby sister gangster on Star, she been acting real spicy. Ion give af if it’s scripted or not, the whole Foxy line just don’t sit right with me. Like if someone wrote that your career was ended when you ran over that lady in 2000 whatever…y’all would say the script is DTM. Ijs.”

Hazel didn’t back down from the backlash. In a tweet, she wrote, “My friend was offended by the degrading line. And I stood up for her. What’s the big deal!”
