Robyn Dixon believes she’s been unfairly dragged into Wendy Osefo’s feud with Gizelle Bryant.
Wendy Osefo has had a lot of heat for Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant on the current season of “Real Housewives of Potomac.” Of course, this will continue on part two of the reunion. In fact, a viewer writes in to ask Wendy why she didn’t go in on Ashley Darby when it’s Ashley who brought up the rumors in a conversation.
In response to this, Wendy answers, “Honestly, the type of person that I am, I don’t beat around the bush. I go straight to the snake and take the head off. She heard it from Gizelle, I was going to Gizelle. As far as Robyn, I was upset at Robyn because Robyn texted me and told me the rumor in January, why didn’t you simply stick up for me as your friend?”
Robyn then says that she actually didn’t know what Ashley told Wendy.
“So you’re not understanding I had no idea what Ashley said to you to make you so upset because that rumor that we talked about came from a non-credible blog that I didn’t believe. When you walk in and you’re talking about a rumor, I’m thinking it’s something new.”
She continued, “And your energy was not only pointed towards Gizelle but it was also pointed towards me like I had something to do with it. And I had no idea what Ashley actually said.”
Wendy Osefo brings out her first receipt.
Wendy then pulls out a poster board of a past text exchange with Robyn in which they discussed the cheating rumor from January 3. She says she doesn’t believe that Robyn didn’t know what rumor she was talking about during the girls’ trip.
But Robyn doesn’t back down regardless of the poster board. “Can you stop cutting me off? Did you not hear what I said? I said I knew about the rumor. We talked about the rumor. The blog is not credible. So when you come in the room fired up about a rumor, I’m thinking it’s a new rumor. It’s the middle of March!
Andy Cohen thinks it’s all just a misunderstanding. “This is kind of a game of telephone. She thought that it was a different rumor so there are some things that maybe were misunderstood.”
Robyn has more to say, “Let me tell you something. I don’t lie. If I knew what rumor they were talking about, I would say, ‘Oh, yeah that bullsh*t rumor, I know what you’re talking about.'”
Gizelle is asked by a viewer why she didn’t pull Wendy to the side to discuss all of this and she says that was the plan until the conversation at dinner during the Williamsburg trip went left. She felt Wendy was being defensive so she decided to ask Ashley to talk to Wendy instead.
Ashley Darby says that rumors are fair game for discussion on the show.
Mia Thornton is confused about why Wendy would be upset over something false. “Wendy, if it’s false, then why are you so upset?” Wendy answers, “That’s my husband’s reputation.”
Another fan writes in to ask why Wendy thinks she’s exempt from having her marriage talked about when everyone else has experienced the same.
This is when Ashley chimes in. “Everything unfortunately is fair game, Wendy. Whether or not it’s true or whatever the source is. If it’s something that we feel is relevant to a conversation, I don’t know why we would tiptoe around it or censor ourselves of what we say.”
Wendy then breaks down why this was such an issue for her.
“My piece around this is I feel it was calculated because this is the same blog that said Gizelle paid Jamal $100,000 to be her significant other last year. This is the same blog that said Gizelle has an STD. The fact that she specifically targeted me and chose, ‘I’ma talk about this,’ without saying on camera, ‘Well this blog also talks about me,’ shows that what you did was calculated.”
Gizelle disagrees, “No, it shows that I was talking about social media.”
Andy Cohen isn’t impressed.
They then argue about speaking on the phone before filming season 6. Wendy wonders why Gizelle didn’t talk to her about the rumor then.
Gizelle says to Wendy, “You called me and we talked about a whole lot of things.” And Wendy says, “That’s not true.” After Gizelle says Wendy wasn’t angry when they spoke on the phone, Wendy pulls out copies of her phone records. “I pulled my phone records because you know I’m married to an attorney. I called you one time. We talked for one minute. So you’re a liar.”
It’s at this point that Andy expresses he’s not impressed by Wendy’s receipts. “I don’t think this matters.” He continues, “I gotta tell you something. We went from the binder to this looseleaf folder. This is a fall.”
