Nicki Minaj responded to Chris Bassett’s criticisms.
Chris Bassett received some criticism when it was said that he was managing Candiace Dillard‘s career. Some of the women of “Real Housewives of Potomac” questioned how this could actually work out. Mia Thornton even questioned if Chris was being paid. This led to a feud between Mia and Candiace. But Chris’ biggest critic was actually Miss Dorothy.
Nicki Minaj brought up Miss Dorothy’s comments about Chris at the season 6 reunion. She said that it just seemed like Candiace’s mother was determined to tear Chris down in front of as many people as possible. But it would be Nicki’s questions about Candiace’s music that didn’t sit well with Chris.
She asked if any of the ladies thought “Drive Back” would go platinum. When Candiace said her album “Deep Space” charted on the R&B Billboard chart, Nicki then asked what the actual sales were. Candiace said that she sold over 20,000 copies in the first week.
Nicki also asked Candiace to sing the song on the spot. Candiace was hesitant at first but delivered. Everyone was impressed by her quick performance, too. But when Chris came out on the stage during a final break, he said he didn’t like the questions Nicki asked Candiace.
After Nicki watched this scene, she tweeted, “Candy gurl husband rlly need to sit his a*s down chi LMFAO #RHOP.” In response to this, Chris tweeted, “I don’t need to do nothing but support my wife.”
Nicki had a little more to say in another tweet when a fan questioned who Chris thinks he is. She wrote, “He rlly fell & bumped his head for a quick lil min chi. ‘The line of questioning’ wha? EnTway.”
