Mimi has some encouraging words for Safaree.
Safaree makes his way to the beach to join Booby’s field day activities. In a green screen interview, he says that he didn’t speak to Erica because he thinks she needs her space. He doesn’t want any drama. Right now their focus is to do well co-parenting.
He later has a conversation with Mimi. Safaree says he’s in a weird headspace and he can’t believe where he is with Erica now. It just seems like they are competing to see who can hurt each other the most. Mimi says that she understands what he’s going through. At one point, Stevie was very disrespectful to her. So what Safaree and Erica have to do is learn how to respect each other for the sake of their children. Safaree is willing to have the talk he needs to have with Erica.

Safaree pulls Erica aside and says they need to talk. Erica suggests they just focus on doing what’s best for their children and they should leave the romance thing alone. Safaree agrees and walks off.
Cisco confronts Amina. He believes Amina uses him as a pawn to anger Peter. This is because she’s still in love with Peter. In a green screen interview, Amina says that she may have kissed Cisco but they never slept together. And she’s never looked at Cisco in a romantic way because he’s Peter’s friend. Cisco also says that they didn’t sleep together.
Safaree and Erica once again talk. They discuss the situation with Booby’s friend Kaylin. Safaree doesn’t see what he did wrong. He did get flirty with Kaylin but he doesn’t think Erica has a right to be upset because she filed for divorce. Erica tells Safaree he abandoned her while she was pregnant with their second child. Safaree says he never abandoned her and he’s there for his kids. He gets fed up and walks away,

While everyone tries to calm the former couple down, Erica says she doesn’t want Safaree anymore. And he should enjoy the trip because he broke up his family.
Shekinah and Marcus tell Safaree that Erica uses her words to hurt him because she’s hurt. He didn’t like being accused of abandoning his family. He was there the whole time for her. But fights would get so bad that the police would come to their home. It just got too toxic.
Booby says he’s getting to know Cyn.
Brooke and Booby catch up. She asks him if he’s in a relationship with Cyn. He says they aren’t. They are just getting to know each other. Brooke feels that Cyn and Booby look good together regardless of what their status is.
Does Erica want to make Safaree look like the bad guy?
It’s the evening of Amina and Peter’s 70’s themed divorce party. Safaree attends and breaks down in tears after Peter says he looks happy. Safaree hates that Erica is saying he abandoned her and the kids. This isn’t true. He’s with his children all the time. He just never felt the need to promote this on social media. But he’s convinced Erica wants him to look like the villain in the situation. He was even there in the hospital when she gave birth to their son recently.
Cisco apologizes to Peter for all the drama that’s taken place between them as of late. Peter accepts and tells Cisco he loves him. They will always be family.
Is Zell insecure?
Mimi has another chat with Jonathan. In a green screen interview, she confirms her engagement to Ty didn’t work out. But they are still very good friends.
Jonathan and Mimi discuss Zell’s “too gay” comments. Mimi says Zell may be dealing with some insecurities. And he may not be comfortable with his s*xuality like Jonathan because she overheard him say that he wants to be straight and have children.
It’s time for Erica and Safaree to get on the same page.
Safaree and Erica try to talk again. Erica says that they should take their relationship off the table and focus on their children. Safaree starts crying and says he doesn’t want to lose Erica. He wanted them to be together. Erica breaks down in tears as well and hugs him. In a green screen interview, she says Safaree has never been this open with her before.
Safaree tells Erica he loves her and they hug again. He apologizes for all he’s done to hurt her. And this is a very emotional moment for both of them. In a green screen interview, Erica says she just wishes she had a friendship with Safaree at this point. If that happens, they can definitely be in a better space in the future.
