Cisco confronts Safaree.
Cyn talks to Jonathan and Yo-Yo about her issues with Cisco. She says he was supposed to get her some studio time but he changed his mind when she said she didn’t want to sleep with him. The situation really bothered her. And it’s the reason why she didn’t record any music for 5 or 6 years.
Safaree, Marcus, and Booby talk as they shoot a basketball. In a green screen interview, Booby says that he and Marcus hashed out their past issues. And they are in a good space. As for Erica, she recaps her recent conversation with Safaree to Mimi and Brooke. She says she was surprised by how vulnerable Safaree was. Meanwhile, Marcus tells Safaree that he has to take it one day at a time when it comes to Erica.
After Yo-Yo shows off a wonderful selection of African American foods for everyone to eat, the group sits on the beach to enjoy the foods she prepared. Cisco pulls Safaree aside and says that he’s still upset with Safaree for not attending his aunt, Deb Antney’s, birthday party. Deb helped Safaree and Nicki Minaj start their music careers. And everyone expected Safaree to be there because he said he was coming. So when he didn’t, it embarrassed Cisco.
Rich approaches both men and tells Cisco it’s not the time or place to confront Safaree. In a green screen interview, Safaree says he can’t believe Cisco is still upset because this happened a couple of years ago.
Zell and Jonathan have another controversial discussion.
While everyone is enjoying pool time, Jonathan confronts Zell. He says that Bobby told him that he felt Jonathan could be racist for comparing blackness to being gay. Zell says it’s not that he thinks Jonathan is a bad person, it’s just that Jonathan’s comments bothered him. However, Jonathan was offended by Zell saying he and Bobby are “too gay.”
Jonathan says that he wasn’t trying to offend Zell. He just wanted to make a point that people are born black and people are born gay. So everyone should take pride in these things and not be ashamed. Zell understands this. But he feels Jonathan can be inconsiderate at times by discussing gay s*x around straight men. And he shouldn’t do this. Jonathan then says that they just got done watching a video of Safaree and Erica having s*x. And no one was offended. Erica gets irritated by this and questions why she and Safaree were brought into the conversation before walking away.
For Jonathan, he just wants to use comparisons to make his points but people are taking what he says out of context. And this isn’t easy to deal with.
In a green screen interview, Zell says people need to understand that all gay men aren’t the same. They are diverse and there’s no one way to be gay. Bobby says that it’s important that all three of them get along.
Cyn gets frustrated with Cisco, again.
It’s the night of Erica’s s*x charades party. Cyn tells Jonathan she will reluctantly attend. Erica really lets her hair down, she even kisses Amina with some whipped cream as everyone watches on and records. Not too long after she arrives, Cisco pulls her aside to talk. Meanwhile, Mimi updates everyone about Cisco and Cyn’s past drama. And she says Cisco thinks Cyn has been spending time with Booby to make him jealous.
This annoys Cyn. She tells him she’s not even that type of person. But she’s not about to explain herself to any man, especially not one she doesn’t have anything significant with. The only thing Cyn wants to talk about is how Cisco played her about her studio time years ago. She wanted to record a song for her deceased brother back then. When it becomes clear Cisco isn’t ready to discuss this, Cyn walks away.
Erica and Cyn clash, and Jonathan has a heated exchange with Erica.
When Cyn comes back to rejoin the party, people keep pushing her to hash things out with Cisco. But Cyn tells them she’s not about to discuss anything. Erica gets annoyed. She says no one there is off-limits. So Cyn needs to get over herself. Cyn claps back and says they can talk about the alleged fake Instagram page Erica created to bash her. Erica goes off and tells Cyn that she made her. Jonathan intervenes and Erica gets heated. After some words are exchanged, Erica tells Jonathan she and the others are “too black” for him anyway. She then walks away with Zell.
Peter has a private moment with Cisco where he urges him not to talk about serious issues on this night because everyone has been drinking.
Jonathan is fed up after his heated moment with Erica. He tells Rich and Cyn that he’s over all of the drama and he’s going home.
