Shawn’s shocked at the prices of wedding bands.
The episode begins with Tee Tee and Shawn who are out ring shopping. Specifically, they’re looking for wedding bands, and Shawn’s shocked at the prices and flashiness of the rings Tee Tee’s looking at. He’s surprised to learn he’s not supposed to take the band off. Tee Tee wants Shawn’s ring to show that he’s taken.
Meanwhile in Atlanta, Cree’s visiting Angela in her new home. Despite Angela still packing, Cree’s impressed with the place. Of course, Cree has to crack jokes about Bow Wow being close enough to where he can pop up at any time. Angela’s home is in the suburbs and she likes the change of pace and peace compared to life in a city like New York.
Things turn serious when Cree reveals she isn’t sure she can have children and felt a type of way about Sakoya’s argument with Tanice. Cree also reveals she had an abortion at 18 which brings her to tears. She basically went through so much trying to have children that she feels she’s being punished for her decision made at 18. Angela does her best to tell her she shouldn’t feel guilty about the abortion.
Twist beats the case.
And in Dallas, Lil Twist is having his day in court. He’s riding to the courthouse with his attorney who’s laying out the charges to Twist and what could happen if he’s convicted. Twist could end up in jail for at least a year. Twist’s worried because he’s taking care of his family financially and isn’t sure what they’re going to do if he gets locked up.
Luckily for Twist, he’s able to walk out of court as a free man even though he received probation. As a result, he’s ready to go to LA to celebrate his freedom.
Sakoya’s unsure to apologize for what happened at JoJo’s showcase.
Later on, Sakoya’s in the studio with her father JoJo from Jodeci and her cousin Devin, K-Ci’s son. Devin and Sakoya have big footsteps to follow as their parents are legendary R&B artists to many people. They’re in the studio with JoJo who’s preparing to perform without K-Ci. JoJo takes a break from rehearsal to talk to Sakoya. Sakoya wants to know if she should apologize to Tanice for their argument. She also mentions that she was invited to Twist’s party and doesn’t want to have any issues at the event. But JoJo lets her know she doesn’t need to apologize.
She also brings up how Savannah and Cree are seemingly beefing with her. But JoJo tells her to let it go despite Cree tweeting about the situation.
Either way, Sakoya’s ready for a tussle if it comes to it. Eventually, they make it to the party which is at a house and JoJo stops by a short time later, greeting Cree and Savannah. Eric and Aaliyah show up a short time later. Briana also makes her first appearance to support her friend and brought her art supplies. Her friend’s father passed away and she’s mourning. Painting has been a way for her to grieve.
Twist’s party serves host to a clash between Sakoya, Cree, and Savannah.
Eventually, Twist shows up at his party late. Meanwhile, Devin and Sakoya are on the way and they’re anticipating tension, specifically from Cree and Savannah. However, Sakoya’s hopeful she can make peace but is prepared for drama. Finally, they arrive as the party is getting underway.
Back in LA, Cree and Savannah are heading to Twist’s party and they are ready to give Twist water guns. They also talk about who’s coming to the party and of course, talk about Sakoya. They are ready to confront Sakoya and make it clear that they aren’t going to be friendly towards her.
Sakoya introduces herself to Briana and most of the cast and Eric brings up JoJo so she could apologize. Meanwhile, Savannah begins talking smack while she’s sitting by the pool. In her interview, Savannah says the bridge was burned with Sakoya when she tried to throw a drink on Tanice at the showcase. Meanwhile, Savannah ends up getting into it with Devin as she brings up Devin apparently “coming at her sideways” on Twitter.
Sakoya apologizes to JoJo.
Twist does the best he can to be a peacemaker and he tells Savannah to calm down. When Savannah vents, he tells Savannah he’s going to get her to apologize so everyone can get back to partying. Meanwhile, Sakoya says she feels bad for not talking to JoJo. Twist walks over to Sakoya to apologize to her.
JoJo walks over and Sakoya explains her side of the story which includes how she felt some type of way about Angela dating her child’s father. Overall, their conversation went well and things seem positive.
Next, Twist brings Devin back over to Savannah to talk yet the tension continues between Cree, Savannah, and Devin. Meanwhile, security begins creeping closer to the cast.
Things get violent.
This seems to not be a good idea as Cree walks over to where Sakoya’s sitting with the rest of the cast. Savannah walks over next and things begin to boil over. Savannah goes off on Sakoya and tells her to go “take care of your son or something.” This sends Sakoya over the edge and security gets in the middle, separating them.
Cree then speaks about the issue to Sakoya and Sakoya says she never had beef with Angela. Cree gets frustrated and as they are separated, Savannah comes over and apparently physically assaults Sakoya. Their friends get involved and chaos ensues. This includes Cree trying to hit Sakoya.
Unfortunately for Briana, the chaos damaged her painting.
Twist’s frustrated as the ladies he was flirting with at the party left.
The episode ends with Savannah being lifted and thrown into a van by security.
