Cree Campbell and Savannah Jordan spoke out amid backlash from GUHH fans.
A lot of drama went down on the latest episode of “Growing Up Hip Hop.” Lil Twist was elated to learn he wouldn’t have to serve time in prison after a recent arrest. So he threw a party to celebrate the good news. However, the good vibes didn’t last long. When Sakoya Wynter showed up, tension began to build. Although she was able to apologize to JoJo Simmons about her blowup with Tanice Simmons, Savannah Jordan was unmoved.
Savannah didn’t like how things went down between Sakoya and Tanice at the artist showcase. In particular, she takes issue with the fact that Sakoya tried to throw a drink on Tanice. Sakoya and Savannah also exchanged words on Twitter. So Savannah wasn’t open to making peace with Sakoya. They argued. But Sakoya became outraged after Savannah brought up her son. Savannah told her that she needed to go find something else to do like take care of her son.
In response to this, Sakoya stood up and things escalated into an altercation. Security was able to break it up. Cree Campbell then decided she wanted to talk to Sakoya. She told Sakoya she can’t be mad that Savannah brought up her son because she made her son fair game when she brought up her child’s father dated Angela Simmons.
Sakoya told Cree that she won’t really understand until she has children. This set off Cree as she revealed earlier in the episode that she isn’t sure she can have children after terminating a pregnancy when she was 18 years old. So Cree wanted to put her hands on Sakoya and security had their hands full yet again.
While the chaos ensued, Savannah was able to get close to Sakoya. Some viewers believe she may have snuck Sakoya before security restrained her. Either way, backlash has been thick for Savannah and Cree on social media. Both had some things to say on Twitter, too.
Savannah tweeted, “I’ll take ‘Love & Hip Hop’ over ‘Growing Up Hip Hop’ any day ?? ? ? ? ? ? ?.” She added, “If opinions paid the bills a lot of you would be rich. Sadly, that’s not the case ? #ead.”
Cree tweeted, “Thank you for all the kind words and messages from other women. That was the hardest scene I’ve ever done and had no intention of going so deep. Ang and I are genuinely friends and it just came out.” She continued, “#GUHH as far as the altercation, it was not necessary. I was triggered in that moment.”
