“Braxton Family Values” fans are in shock from the latest news. Traci Braxton has tragically passed away at 50 years old. According to multiple reports, Traci was privately battling Esophageal Cancer. And treatments were not successful. Her son Kevin Surrat, Jr. confirmed the news on Instagram. In a post, he wrote, “When I heard the news about my mother being sick, first thing she said was I’m going to fight and beat this. She fought to the end and today she’s at peace. I love my mother forever and this hurts so much but I’m at peace knowing she’s isn’t in pain anymore. I love you ma I’m going to miss you.”
Toni Braxton also addressed Traci’s death on the social media platform. She wrote, “It is with the utmost regret that we inform you of the passing of our sister, Traci. Needless to say, she was a bright light, a wonderful daughter, an amazing sister, a loving mother, wife, grandmother and a respected performer. We will miss her dearly.”
She added, “Traci passed this morning as the snow was falling, our angel is now a snowflake.”
We send out condolences to all of Traci’s loved ones and the entire Braxton family.
I remember seeing people on IG saying how thin she was and I thought it was distasteful. It’s like people learned nothing from Chadwick. This is so sad.

Traci was my fave Braxton sister. She managed to smile thru it all but she was screaming on the inside. She felt like the outsider or her family made her feel that way because she had gotten pregnant. She lived with that stigma for years.
She held her head up despite of though.

I’m so sorry to hear about Traci passing. However, the Bible gives a hope for the dead at John 5:28,29. May the “God of comfort” comfort her family and friends during this great loss. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4. My condolences to their family. ???♥️

I am 50 years old and in my entire lifetime up until now, I have only truly cried for 3 celebrities , Diana , Michael Jackson & Traci Braxton.
I cried for Traci becuase she was relatable, real, and a darling soul.
Walk easy my sister, you are truly missed.
No disrespect for the others sisters but she still had a relationship with both her parents which children as adults who divorce may not bring our siblings to the table to understand grown folks talk as she did wanted to do on the show..understand why she accepted your fathers wife .. that is grown folks stuff
