Sheree Whitfield’s romance with Tyrone Gilliams hasn’t been smooth sailing.

Kandi Burruss told “Real Housewives of Atlanta” fans that season 14 would be explosive. It’s been rumored that multiple feuds went down while the ladies were filming. So Kandi promised that the new season would be one of the best ever, despite losing Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams.

Well, Bravo has released the first trailer. And well, Kandi was right. There were multiple feuds shown that should keep fans interested.

Marlo Hampton is a first-time peach holder. She’s also the legal guardian of her two nephews now. So Marlo’s life has changed a lot in the last couple of years. And being responsible for her nephews has been tough considering that they are really missing their mother – Marlo’s sister.

In one scene, Marlo questions, “Am I raising them right?”

Apollo Nida makes his return to the show as he warns Sheree Whitfield about the difficulties that come with her boyfriend Tyrone Gilliams coming home after years in prison. Apollo tells her, “When the guys come home, they just sh*t all over the woman.”

Sheree calls a friend questioning what it means to get a busy signal when calling Tyrone. And the friend’s response is devastating to Sheree, “You might be blocked.”

Of course, Sheree’s issues with Tyrone have played out on the blogs. During one scene, Sheree breaks down in tears over the situation. And Marlo tries to pick her up, “Just love yourself, Sheree.”

Todd Tucker is fed up with Kandi Burruss’ family, including Riley Burruss?

Sanya Richards-Ross joins the cast. The Olympic gold medalist and track star clashes with Drew Sidora early on. She also tells Drew to respect her resume, too, “I’m a four-time Olympic gold medalist! Put some respect on my name!”

Kandi and Todd Tucker have been busy with OLG these days. However, Todd is still someone that Mama Joyce and others in Kandi’s family don’t trust. They believe he’s just around for Kandi’s wealth. In a scene, Kandi and Todd discuss some property in New Jersey.

Kandi says, “You and your Jersey crib.” In response to this, Todd says, “My name ain’t on this house.”

Mama Joyce continues to come for Todd it seems, “He don’t have the money to pay that condo off.” And Todd is at his wit’s ends. He seemingly has issues with Riley Burruss as well. And he makes this known to Kandi, “Her, your momma, and your family…y’all so disrespectful!”

Drew and her husband Ralph Pittman are still having issues. Last season Drew took issue with Ralph traveling to Florida without her after an argument. For the longest, he wouldn’t even tell her that he went to Tampa. Now Drew is upset about a text exchange Ralph had.

“If you were to ever find something in my phone where a guy was like, ‘Yo, I could come give you a massage, you would have a problem with that.” When Ralph tries to downplay Drew’s concerns, Kenya Moore calls him out, “You just said she’s lying. That would p*ss me the f*ck off.”

Kandi Burruss and Kenya Moore have tension?

Fans are also surprised by a possible tense exchange between Kandi and Kenya. And the supposed conflict may involve Todd. Kenya says, “It’s inappropriate.” In response, Kandi says, “My husband was there when you said you wanted to have s*x.” An outraged Kenya then says, “Don’t have your husband bumping my p*ssy all night!”

Drew also clashes with Sheree. But one of the most heated moments in the trailer involved Kandi and Marlo. Marlo doesn’t think Kandi knows how to be a “real friend.” And she drags Kandi to Sheree, “Kandi was a d*mn h*e and she f*cked everybody for free.”

Kandi goes off on Marlo and lets her know she only returns the energy she receives, “I give what you give to me! ”

Kenya and Marlo are back to not being able to stand each other. At one point, they nearly come to blows, too. And Kenya has had enough, “Pitiful little h*e. Get out my f*cking face!”

As for Drew, drags Sheree’s friend, Fatum Alford. She calls her a lapdog and throws dog treats at her.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” returns Sunday, May 1st 8/7c on Bravo.

  1. I really want Kandi’s family to leave Todd alone. With the exception of Riley (she’s a child), a good bit of them depend of Kandi financially too much so they really need to stop coming for Todd. At least he has helped her make money money with business ideas. The rest of them are way more dependent. So it reads like the real issue is they want him out so they can have more.

It’s nice seeing Kandi have a lot going on with her family and the group. She’s entertaining when she’s fed up. I’m sure she’ll drag Marlo.

I’m surprised Kenya and Kandi had a moment but I’m sure they’ll get past it quickly because they’re real friends.

Love seeing Sheree be more open and Drew not backing down. Sanya seems like she’s going to be good too.

    I’m excited!

    1. Todd was making six figures before he met Kandi. He’s no scrub and I’m tired of that narrative.

  2. This trailer goes to show you that these ensemble shows really can move on when people leave as long as the right casting decisions are made. I’m really happy with this trailer. Well done Bravo.

  3. I’m just happy to see Kenya isn’t the only one who came to work this season. It looks like everyone brought it this time and that hasn’t been the case in years.

  4. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen a trailer where EVERYBODY is contributing. This looks good but I have a hunch that they are saving a lot of things for the mid season trailer like RHOP did.

  5. Todd and Kandi have been married for about 7 years now and he is still considered a gold digger after all the work he has put in and all he has done to prove himself to her family?! This is ridiculous! Also, I’m curious. I thought they bought the home they live in together. Why is his name not on that house?

  6. This season looks regular to me. All I see is arguing and scripted conversations… I hope they prove me wrong!!?‍?
