There has been a lot of talk about Destiny Payton-Williams and Melody Holt’s fallout.
“Love & Marriage: Huntsville” had a lot to say about the latest episode. On the episode, Melody Holt and Destiny Payton-Williams finally came face to face to address their issues. At last season’s reunion, Destiny told Carlos King that she was a bit confused about where she stood with Melody. And she said they hadn’t spoken since wrapping up filming. LaTisha Scott would then chime in and say that Melody doesn’t know how to be a friend. She accused Melody of only wanting people in her life when she needs them to uplift her. Then when she gets over a trying time, she ghosts them.
Well, Melody said the whole exchange caught her completely off guard. So she pulled out text messages that showed that she and Destiny never stopped being in communication. And Melody accused Destiny of lying on the reunion stage.
However, Melody said that the thing that really made her want to back away from the friendship was that she overheard a conversation Destiny had with LaTisha about her while the cast was in Los Angeles. Considering Melody and LaTisha’s very rocky history, Melody didn’t think it was appropriate for Destiny to discuss her with LaTisha.
Interestingly enough, Destiny and Melody’s fallout isn’t the only thing LAMH fans have been discussing on social media. Some of them have had a lot of questions about the comments Destiny made on the recent episode. In one scene, she told Maurice Scott that her divorce was so tough on her pockets that she needed to get some “public assistance.”
When Maurice asked if she was referring to a PPP loan, she said no.
A blogger has since put Destiny all the way on blast. And the accusations have a lot of people talking.
