Chris Samuels and Monique Samuels had a rough exit from Bravo.

Monique Samuels is starting a new chapter. After her departure from “Real Housewives of Potomac,” she thought she was done with reality television. However, Carlos King convinced her to try it out at OWN. Monique and Chris Samuels will be on the first season of “Love & Marriage: DC.” Of course, the show is a spinoff. It became a reality after “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” became a hit. While RHOP is how many viewers came to know them, Monique said fans will see a very different side to their marriage. This comes after Monique said her marriage was attacked on RHOP by other cast members.

Interestingly enough, Chris and Monique did show they had issues on RHOP. Monique even said that they oftentimes have tension in their marriage around her birthday. Robyn Dixon understood this. And she said professional athletes can struggle at times to understand that it isn’t always about them.

Monique also had tension with Chris’ mother. She would sometimes make shady comments. And she felt like Monique needed to get a job. In her opinion, Monique was spending too much money.

Fortunately, Chris’ mother was able to hash things out with Monique. She even apologized for past comments as the couple celebrated their rainbow baby.

Well, Monique recently opened up about the state of her marriage. And she revealed that she and Chris nearly went their separate ways ahead of filming for LAMDC.

  1. This is not the first spinoff. There was one season of Love & Marriage: Charlotte. I’d hoped for more.

  2. They really need to be careful because reality shows are the kiss of death for most marriages. I wish them well.

  3. RHOP did not strengthen their marriage clearly so why signup for another reality show? I hope it will be worth it for them – they have too much to lose.
