Martell Holt’s affair has been a hot topic.
“Love & Marriage: Huntsville” became a hit on OWN due to the controversy between Martell Holt and Melody Holt. The Holts seemed like a power couple at the beginning of the first season. This was something that brought a lot of viewers in. They were interested in seeing three black power couples navigate the ends and outs of real estate investing. However, it was revealed that Martell had a longtime affair. Although Melody accused him of cheating with multiple women, he messed around with Arionne Curry for a few years. Melody and Martell seemed like they were trying to move on from the issue. However, Melody suspected he was cheating, again. The family was in quarantine. And Melody noticed he was leaving the house often.
Melody decided to file for divorce. And she later learned that Martell had a baby on the way with Arionne.
Fans and bloggers have had a lot to say about the situation. Vlogger Funky Dineva even nicknamed Arionne “Coleslaw.” When OWN had a special about the Holts, Dr. Heavenly Kimes participated. And the “Married to Medicine” star referred to her as the popular side dish.
Martell attempted to call Heavenly out about this on “The Nightcap With Carlos King.” Heavenly wasn’t having it. And she had more to say on her YouTube channel. Interestingly enough, she accused Martell of coming for Dr. Damon Kimes. So she had some more jabs to throw Martell’s way.

Martell would still be married to Melody to this day if she didn’t divorce him. This is why there’s no advantage in being a side chick. There’s no value in playing second fiddle to another woman knowingly just to have a piece of a man. Arionne should want better for herself. Martell plays with her like she’s a toy and it’s gross. Heavenly is right, Damon is definitely the better man. Had Martell put his family before his ego, he would have never cheated in the first place.
I agree with Heavenly and I also hope Melody never goes back to Martell. I don’t think a woman can be with a man who doesn’t actually respect her. And Martell doesn’t seem to respect any woman with the exception of his mother.
