Contraband was discovered in Gangsta Boo and Emmet’s room on “Marriage Boot Camp.”
Fans have a lot to say about the latest episode of “Marriage Boot Camp.” Gangsta Boo and her man Emmet were so close to finishing the program. In fact, they were getting to the bottom of their relationship woes. Gangsta Boo learned that the things she said during arguments were hurtful. And her words were emotionally scarring. In fact, Emmet hated that she called him a loser. He would later admit it stung because he agreed.
As for Gangsta Boo, she feels Emmet can say hurtful things as well. But her lack of decent relationships with his children was a real sore spot. And at times, it didn’t seem as if Emmet cared or wanted to do anything to get Gangsta Boo on the same page as his children. Overall, Gangsta Boo didn’t feel like she was accepted by Emmet’s family.
After completing multiple exercises to get to the bottom of their relationship woes, the couple made it to the last day in the boot camp house. Before they could take lie detector tests, Dr. Ish Major said a concerning discovery had been made. He claimed a baggy of contraband was found in the couple’s room. The substance in the bag was crystal clear and rock-like. And since it was discovered next to Gangsta Boo’s jewelry box, it was suspected that the baggy was hers.

When Dr. Ish confronted the couple about the situation, Gangsta Boo became upset. She accused producers of lying on her. And she said she had no idea how the baggy even got there. She pointed out that every cast member was thoroughly checked for drugs prior to entry and nothing was discovered. So this felt like a setup to her. Gangsta Boo also said that it’s possible that the baggy was old.
Either way, the rule is contraband is not allowed in the boot camp house. So the couple was told to pack up their things and head home.
Since filming the controversial episode, Gangsta Boo had some things to say on social media.
She tweeted, “I can’t believe these folks lied on me on national TV.” Gangsta Boo added, “Don’t attach mental illnesses, phobias or chemical imbalances 2 substance abuse or addictions. It’s unfair and disrespectful 2 ppl who suffer from anxiety, being anxious, high-strung, claustrophobic, etc who r 100% sober. Cuz sum1 high-strung doesn’t mean they’re literally HIGH.”
She also called out Dr. Ish Major.
Gangsta Boo also called out Dr. Ish in a now-deleted Instagram post. She wrote, “You would think someone like @drish would have a better choice of delivery when he is trying to be all “professional.” Not sure if he’s just a TV “Dr.” when the cameras are on or in real life when they are off. This is #mentalhealthawareness month so if you care so much about ppl health, with SO much “concern and sincerity,” why did YOU noticeably allow ppl to be on prescription meds while drinking alcohol in front of you?? Everything was on camera. Don’t pretend you didn’t know.”
She continued, “I wouldn’t recommend anyone to you. Even if they were desperate for therapy. You actually owe the ppl who suffer from these things in the dark a DEEP APOLOGY. It was a bit insensitive and wrong DOC. Someone may see you say what ur saying and be scared to get help in fear of being looked at as a substance abuser or judged by people.
Gangsta Boo doesn’t think Dr. Ish is consistent. “I actually have a REAL therapist who would never attach personality disorders to substance abuse so freely or allow patients to indulge in alcohol on prescription meds right in front of them. Do you not know how dangerous and unsafe that is? Could be fatal for some. Did you not care about that? Don’t pick and choose when you wanna be on patrol to be this health concern doctor. Should be a 24 hr thing. I used to respect you. I have zero respect for you now or your kind. Are you even married? Let’s be clear, do better homeboy.”

Gangsta Boo, gurl please. ???? Your behavior told us you was snorting Coke. You were acting so erratic and like a plum fool on that show. And baby girl, your man already told on you. ????????♀️???? So you gonna eat them words on social media.???? I smell a public apology coming real soon. ???? Seek help. You reacted just like a person does when they’ve been caught and couldn’t get to their stash. Yes, it’s an embarrassing moment, but this was your moment to come clean and get clean for you, first and foremost and then maybe you can be the best version of yourself in your relationship. Cuz you talk to that man ALL kinds of crazy. Prayers for Emmit cuz you’re a handful. We are all going thru something but it’s better ways to deal with it.
This honestly should not have been shown on the show because the majority of viewership is made of black people and as a community, we’re not empathetic towards substance abuse. Most of us are honestly really ignorant about it. So instead of people having compassion for this black woman, they are bashing her all over the internet. That’s not helpful when you are dealing with addiction. This was handled poorly.
Dr. Ish doesn’t always handle things right. I remember when the Tahiry and Vado situation happened. He kicked Vado out but never held Tahiry accountable for throwing apples at his face. And no, I don’t think he handled this situation right either. A good bit of these “therapy” exercises are also disturbing, unhelpful, and problematic. Regardless, I wish Boo well and I hope she gets the help she needs. I know her father recently passed and she’s been through a lot.
I don’t think they should be airing people out for doing drugs like this. Society is very judgmental and she’s going to be dragged. So how is this helpful?
This right here is why people don’t like to be honest about their addictions. Read the comments on YouTube, Twitter, IG, etc. No compassion whatsoever. Just a bunch of perfect people tearing a black woman down as usual.
This episode annoyed the f-ck out of me. A1 was literally rolling up a blunt to smoke on the episode. They get p-ssy drunk like it’s nothing. Dr. Ish doesn’t care. But they made it a point to throw Boo under the bus over coke when I guarantee she isn’t the only one using. So many people do drugs and deal with addictions, but we’re still not at the point when we can have honest dialogue about it and not shame people. Would have been better to just say a personal emergency happened and Emmet and Boo had to leave than doing this sh-t right here. Discretion was needed if the help wasn’t going to be offered right after.
Is Dr. Ish a real therapist? It’s really weird to see a therapist expose someone’s drug addiction like this. Then he tried to force her to talk about it on camera. I’ve never seen a therapist move like this before.
When Emmett and Boo were in tge bathroom you can hear someone take two snorts….before they found tge drugs i said to my bae it sound like someone just took a snort when they were in the bathroom…and then they find the baggie with white residue in it..
Oh well, that’s what she gets for acting like she was at home, she should have put that stuff up like it is illegal. All that drama was a waste I heard her snorting in the bathroom too. I do agree Ish didn’t have to bust her out like that considering there was only one day left, that wasn’t very nice but she didn’t help.
Dr. Ish should understand that he shouldn’t put someone on blast for their drug addiction. Especially as a therapist. A lot of people struggle with addiction because it’s their way of coping from trauma. Putting Gangsta Boo on the spot like this is only going to make her use even more.
