The recent episode of RHOA was a controversial one.
It’s shaping up to be another messy season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” With Marlo Hampton being a first-time peach holder, it’s pretty clear that Kandi Burruss is her target. So far, Marlo has accused Kandi of not doing enough for the “Black culture.” She also has accused Kandi of being promiscuous. When she appeared on Carlos King’s podcast, she even accused Kandi of not working hard enough for the money she makes from RHOA. So Marlo decided to take it upon herself to put more pressure on Kandi during Season 14. And she doesn’t care that it was Kandi who advocated for her to secure a peach and helped her get her own reality show years ago. Interestingly enough, Kandi clapped back and said that Marlo ruined that opportunity because she was more concerned with being a friend on RHOA.
Well, fans are still talking about the comments Marlo made about Kandi and Kenya Moore on the recent episode. In the scene, she was talking to Sheree Whitfield. And Marlo didn’t like that newbie Sanya Richards-Ross only invited Kenya and Kandi to her mommy blog photo shoot. She doesn’t think they are exceptional enough for the invite.
Marlo told Sheree, “Kandi is the money mom. She got a whole team and a daddy daycare.” She continued, “You don’t even have it in your heart Kandi how to help other people.”
Sheree added, “She’s for herself.”
Marlo went on, “For herself. First of all, Kandi was a **** ***. She ****** everybody for free. That ***** was a *** and that ***** wasn’t good. And that’s why you around here always gotta date underneath your tax bracket, okay?”
Sheree added, “Preach.”
Kenya was up next. Marlo said, “And Kenya, ‘I’m Miss USA. And I have…’, *****, you was a got **** video ***. I don’t want no one to know I was a video ***. You went through every rapper in America, didn’t get a ring.”
Sheree then said, “Facts.”

Todd Tucker has had enough.
Kandi and her husband Todd Tucker did a quick interview with Where Is The Buzz. And the interviewer asked about Marlo’s focus on throwing so much shade as of late. Kandi says she’s not impressed,” She tries, bless her heart.”
When she was asked if Marlo has reached out since her comments went viral, Kandi said, “Of course not. But you know what? I’m glad she didn’t because, at the end of the day, I just saw today’s episode that’s gonna air tonight. And she’s saying some of the same things. So I’m like, ‘Oh, okay. So this is something that she’s been saying on the show that I wasn’t around to hear.”
She added, “So I’m like, ‘Oh I get it, so she’s gonna keep running this BS. We don’t even need to talk.'”
Sheree was also brought up. The interviewer asked what Sheree has “been giving” this season. And Kandi answered, “She’s been giving played. Played by Tyrone [Gilliams]. She’s been giving played.”
Todd was asked his thoughts on the Sheree and Tyrone situation. It was clear he wanted to go in until Kandi told him to be cool.
He then said, “It’s hard when you watch the episode and they talk crazy about you.”
Kandi explained that Todd caught a stray insult on the recent episode. Todd then gave the most mature response to Sheree and Marlo.
He said, “Wait, wait, I’m really good though. I’m confident in my skin, I’m cool. You can talk crazy about me but for me it’s like my wife has contributed so much to this franchise. And the stuff they’re saying, it just shows where they’re not at, you know what I mean? And what they want…what they’re searching for, you know what I mean? So I’m good.”

I’ll be honest and admit I didn’t really catch how jealous the other women are of Kandi until now. They really hate how successful she is. And it’s weird that they try to come for Todd about money when he was actually making more money than them and the men they dealt with before he even married Kandi. Todd was making six figures as a producer. He’s far from a bum. His ambition actually made Kandi wealthier. You have to put some respect on his name.
I know Todd wanted to drag both but he did the right thing keeping it classy. Let Marlo and Sheree roll around in the mud by themselves.
Todd’s answer was on point. Sheree and Marlo are very jealous of Kandi. They wish they were in her position and they can’t stand to see Bravo ride for her as hard as they do.
I’m definitely Team Kandi in this situation. She didn’t do anything to Sheree or Marlo for them to be this pressed.
The majority of the women have always been jealous of Kandi and I think it’s mainly due to her success because what is it that she does? She tries so hard to stay outta people’s business and always try to be the voice of reason and if she slips and does something outta pocket at least she admits it; Marlo and Sheree are trying too hard and it shows! And FYI they better not come for Todd!
Yeah, it’s definitely jealousy at play. I remember when Sheree turned on NeNe back in the first couple of seasons because she was jealous that NeNe became the breakout star. Sheree really thought she was the IT girl but people gravitated to NeNe much more.
Jealousy and envy. That’s all it is. It only makes them look so stupid. ????????♀️ And Kandi is right, when it comes to Sheree, it’s giving played. She only been back for two seconds and jumping on a bandwagon. ????
Very well said todd! I knew Marlo had a foul mouth but just seeing it is pretty vile and disgusting. I don’t know why people that can’t express themselves without all the unnecessary foolishnes. Also, the sl-t shaming has been old. I didnt like it when they did it to porsha and quad. The same should be with kandi and kenya. I find people like that though, to be just hateful and jealous for no particular reason. Also, I’m taking up for Kenya allot lol! I think Kenya has really grown allot, babies change everything! Lol I can respect Kenya’s hustle, and kandi’s too
Marlow, I got Chanel, Gucci, Versace, ok your PIMP bought some designer clothes. If Kandi wanted to wear a bunch of designer clothes, she can, but because you where raised in the ghetto, your not use to any thing nice. Sheree’ shes hopeless, she have nothing, her man is at the halfway house still didn’t show up. Because he’s with the girl thats going to sleep with him. You crazy bat.

It’s a shame that friends talk about each other the way that this bunch does. I understand that the show need ratings, but at what cost. Marlo don’t you have enough to do with raising your nephews. Sheree aren’t you a little to old to have a penpal. Just saying. Yall can talk about Kandi all you want,one thing for sure and two things for certain. She making them coins. Shame on you sister friends.

@ Jean, everybody isn’t jealous but Marlo is certainly jealous of Kandi. That’s why she’s always talking about how much money Kandi makes and how she spends it. She also tries to downplay Kandi’s accomplishments. That’s what envious people do.
