Angel has some words for Nia.
The ladies arrive in Las Vegas and it doesn’t take long for things to go left because Angel confronts Nia in front of the group. She’s upset about the meme still. Although Nia apologizes, Angel says it doesn’t seem genuine. And she accuses Nia of talking about her at the gender reveal party. Nia goes on to say that things got blown out of proportion because Duffey went to Roccstar and brought him over to call her out. She feels this was unnecessary. Men shouldn’t be called in to get involved in disputes between women. Duffey goes off and accuses Nia of trying to drag her into the situation. So they start arguing.
Jennifer tries to explain that she told Nia she was wrong and Nia didn’t think she would offend Angel because she also had a child out of wedlock. It’s not a sensitive topic for her.
Regardless, Duffey is furious. And she feels like Nia should have not mentioned her because it’s her birthday and the trip is about her last DJ show. At this point, Angel just feels as if this isn’t a good start when it comes to her getting to know Nia.
Is Nia being ganged up on?
Nia walks off because she feels like she’s being ganged up on. Her sister Noria and Angel follow. Nia says she doesn’t like how Duffey and Brooke have been coming at her. And Noria agrees that they are doing way too much. As for Angel, she says she can move forward with Nia. All she wants is respect.
Duffey catches up with French Montana and Brittish. She asks him if he will do a record with her and he says he will. Duffey later FaceTimes the group and tells Nia and Noria she no longer wants them to come to her final DJ gig. She doesn’t want any “bad energy” to mess up her night. Only Brittish, Brandi, and Brooke make it out to see Duffey’s performance.
Malaysia wants to hash things out with Brandi.
Jackie and Malaysia spend time together in the pool. Malaysia says the trip has been going well so far. And she’s happy that she and Brandi have been able to be cordial. So she’s open to them hashing things out in the future if the opportunity presents itself. As for Jackie, she’s still trying to adjust to Doug’s new coaching job. It’s requiring a lot of his time and this is really hard for Jackie.
A breakthrough happens between Malaysia and Brandi. Malaysia apologizes to Brandi for how everything turned out between them. They both break down in tears as they talk about how much they love and miss each other. As they hug it out, they share some laughs about the old inside jokes they made about some of the other cast members. Everyone is glad to see the former friends talk and perhaps move forward in repairing their friendship.
Glasses are thrown and security has to step in.
Unfortunately, the good vibes start to disappear once Nia and Noria become the focus. The sisters and Duffey attempt to hash out their issues. Duffey confirms she did send them a text to invite them out to the club after she disinvited them. They still didn’t come. And Noria calls out Duffey because she feels like she was targeted just because she’s Nia’s sister.
Well, an argument ensues between Duffey and the sisters. Brooke also gets involved after Duffey throws a paper plate at Noria. But it escalates once Brooke throws a glass at Noria. And Noria throws one back, accidentally injuring Brandi. The episode ends on a cliffhanger after security steps in to keep the women from putting their hands on each other.
What are your thoughts on the episode?
This whack a-s beef they got with the sisters need to stop because the meme wasn’t that big of a deal. Them ganging up on the sisters lets me know that none of them have a good storyline. I’m happy to see Brandi and Malaysia making progress I hope it last.
The fact that they are doing the most about a silly meme is embarrassing.
Wow, can’t we all just get along. Why do black women feel like they have to down a sister in order to one up her. Not one positive person on the show. Angel get off the show and have your baby and be happy.
HOW DID BROOKE IN UP IN THIS ANYWAYS? I REALLY HOPE BRANDI DIDNT GET HURT BADLY. WHAT WITH THEM AND PUTTING HANDS ON PEOPLE? HOW MANY TIMES DOES NIA NEEDS TO APOLOGIZE. OK YES WHAT SHE SAID WAS INAPPROPRIATE BUT HOW MANY EPISODES NOW THIS IS BEING TALKED ABOUT. LET IT GO AND IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR DISTANCE AND ONLY BE CORDIAL, THEN DO THAT
Really not feeling Brooke or Duffey this season. Yikes.
