One friendship is saved, and another is broken.
Simone and Jackie have finally gotten their friendship back on track. All it took was both realizing that they really missed each other.
Interestingly enough, there have been some changes in Heavenly’s life, too. She’s now a proud owner of a beauty supply store called “Heavenly Beauty.” And she’s no longer friends with Contessa. They haven’t spoken in months. While Heavenly isn’t sure what went wrong, Contessa says that Heavenly said Scott is emotionally and verbally abusive to Contessa. So this was the last straw for Contessa.
Speaking of Scott and Contessa, they were able to utilize therapy to save their marriage. Contessa is also training for a physical competition.
Quad and Toya start new chapters.
Quad’s home life is different. She bought a house. Her mother as well as her nephew live with her full-time. Her brother died last year from complications with the heart. So it’s been really hard for her nephew and mother to adjust.
Anila and Kiran have finally moved into their new home. Kiran isn’t happy that they ended up spending $2.5 million when the budget was originally $1.5 million.
Meanwhile, Toya and Eugene have moved into a home down the street from their last house. They have also purchased a lot for another house and it should be ready in April 2023. In a green screen interview, Toya says she didn’t mind moving because their last house didn’t have an elevator or space for a tennis court.
When it comes to Toya’s relationship with Anila, they are cordial. And she was invited to Anila and Kiran’s housewarming party.
Contessa has had enough of Heavenly’s YouTube commentary.
On the day of the party, Heavenly and Damon bring their friends Audra and Martin. Audra is a real estate attorney and Dennis is a dentist.
After Contessa and Scott arrive, Quad tries to talk Contessa into speaking to Heavenly. But she doesn’t want to. She can’t get past the comments Heavenly made on her YouTube channel. Quad understands this. She says Heavenly thinks she can say whatever she wants about her friends online and still maintain her friendships. But that isn’t always going to be the case.
