Tammy Rivera and Waka Flocka grew apart.
Waka Flocka and Tammy Rivera opened up about their breakup on “What the Flocka.” And on the recent episode, they gave their perspectives about why they decided to end their marriage.
While talking to her siblings, Tammy said, “I feel like we’re going our separate ways. We’ve outgrown each other and we’re living our lives. And I feel like he’s still my friend. I feel like even though I’ve lost my husband, I’ve gained a friend.”
Waka is on the same page. While talking to Tammy’s sister Becky, he said, “We both grew into two separate people, right? The amount of success I wanna take, I know what kind of sacrifices I gotta have. I know there’s **** I can’t accept no more. And what she wanna do don’t fit what I wanna do.”
He continued, “It get to the point like Becky, who do you think was the happiest people when I walked in the house? The ******* dogs. Not even Charlie come in her room. Tammy don’t give a ****. She turn her back to me every night. I just don’t feel appreciated. And for me man, it wasn’t about me and Tammy. Once I found out it couldn’t be repaired, the most I gave a **** about was my daughter.”
And his focus will continue to be on Charlie, “As long as Charlie don’t look at me like a monster, hey Tammy, we adults. Whatever we go through, let’s keep this **** right here. The only thing I challenge myself on, is don’t let Charlie do the same thing to me. Don’t let Charlie throw me out. You know what I’m trying to say? It ain’t about Tammy. This right now is beyond Tammy.”
