Things worsen between Lou Lou and Crown.
It’s a rough morning for Marvin since he’s at the apartment complex to dispose of the corpse of the super who tried to assault Raq. The man’s body caused a foul odor to spread in the building. So Marvin had to temporarily close down operations so he could handle the situation.
Raq tells Kanan to get ready to go on a camping trip with her. He’s not excited to go and tells Juke that he thinks Howard may really be his father. Juke says Howard is lying because that’s what all cops do.
Crown and Lou Lou continue to have tension in their business relationship. And it becomes clear to Lou that Crown and others in the music business don’t respect him. He punches Crown while they are in a parking lot and Crown pulls a gun out on Lou. Before Lou walks away, he tells Crown not to pull out a gun he doesn’t intend to use.
Juke is done with Marvin and Lou Lou.
Marvin meets with Renee. She tells him he’s not being open enough in her anger management class. So he needs to open up to her so she can see that he’s serious. Marvin tells her about Juke. He says it bothers him that she may not ever speak to him again. What he did was dumb.
It’s later revealed that Marvin has located Toni. When he drives to the house she’s been living, he sees her outside being affectionate with a man.
Lou also strikes out with Juke. Zisa told her that Lou was the one who gave her Juke’s song. When Juke confronts Lou about this, he apologizes. And he just thought that the song was a better fit for Zisa even though Juke wrote it. Juke once again feels as if people are limiting her opportunities because she doesn’t have the look or style the industry pushes forward.
Howard is on to Burke.
Burke interrogates Andrea, the escort Howard sees consistently. And her curiosity sparks once she learns Howard just found out he has a son.
Boselli’s men follow Raq and Kanan to the campsite. Raq is nearly shot and killed, but the moment doesn’t happen because other campers unknowingly interrupted. Neither Raq nor Kanan appears to realize they are being followed. Raq later has Kanan help her bury the corpse Marvin got out of the apartment.
Juke gets some reassurance on her passion for music after she has a great performance at her mother Kenya’s church.
Andrea recaps her meeting with Burke to Howard. Howard goes off after Andrea confirms she told Burke about him having a teenage son. And he tells Andrea that he will no longer communicate with her or pay for her services.
Raq sets up Boselli’s henchmen. Turns out she knew they were followed. Although all parties leave the campsite alive, Raq knows she’s going to have to handle Boselli very soon. It’s gotten out of hand.
