Karen Huger and Mia Thornton are no longer in a good place.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Mia Thornton had an eventful first season. She clashed with Candiace Dillard. What kicked off their feud is what occurred at Candiace’s music video shoot. At the time, Candiace had Chris Bassett helping her with her music career. She branded him as her “husband-ger.” So she wanted Chris to help her with the planning of getting her music video together for “Drive Back.” The single was the first one she released for her debut album. Candiace invited Mia and the others to the shoot. Her mother Miss Dorothy was also there as well. Mia asked Dorothy if Chris was being paid to manage Candiace.
Wendy Osefo told Candiace what Mia did. And it led to problems between Mia and Candiace. When Candiace confronted Mia about her actions, Mia said that she was concerned because the shoot seemed unprofessional and low budget. Candiace clapped back by calling Mia’s mother low-budget. At the time, she didn’t know that Mia’s mother is a recovering drug addict. So things escalated fast between the two women.
Interestingly enough, it was Karen Huger who introduced Mia to the group. And it seems as if they may have fallen out while filming the upcoming season.
