On the season finale of “Raising Kanan,” Raq is still feeling confident about her beef with Sal. However, Unique warns her that she needs to take the threat more seriously. Despite this, Raq is confident that her plan will work. And she’s even called in more shooters to help her take out Sal’s crew.
Lou Lou and Marvin aren’t convinced that Sal will be an easy person to take out. Marvin is struggling with his desire to become a better person and do the job Raq expects of him. And with his relationship with Jukebox improving, he doesn’t want to make the wrong decision. As for Lou, his deeper issues with Raq are revealed. She makes a move behind his back involving his record label that may strain their relationship permanently.
Kanan steals more drugs from Raq to sell with Famous. They are low on cash. However, his choice to go back to the street corners puts him in a vulnerable position with Burke. And now that she’s figured out the truth regarding him, Howard, and Raq; Burke is a bigger threat more than ever.
And when Sal finally does hit back, Raq doesn’t see it coming because she’s too distracted by a couple of key people betraying her. This leads to a lot of deaths and close calls.
