LaTisha’s angered by Marsau.
Marsau meets LaTisha at Blaque. They meet at their lounge for a date, but this one is special. While at the bar, Marsau informs LaTisha that he texted Melody to stop by. LaTisha tells Marsau that they aren’t friends and he shouldn’t be texting Melody, even through his assistant.
Marsau pleads his case and then calls LaTisha “the Jealous Wife,” when she doesn’t budge from her position about Melody. LaTisha didn’t take kindly to the insult.
Marsau wanted to meet with Melody in the first place to tell her about his talk with Maurice and Mark. He also believed it would be okay because of LaTisha and Melody are cordial as he is with Melody. However, LaTisha still feels Melody views her as an enemy. She only wants to be in Melody’s space when she has to and Marsau says this is one of those times.
Eventually, Marsau walks off and tells LaTisha he isn’t listening to anything she has to say. He cools off a tad and returns back to the bar, promising not to make a fool out of her. LaTisha responds that she didn’t like being called jealous.
Before LaTisha leaves as their date isn’t happening, Marsau lets her know Mark is going to say something else on social media that is offensive.
Chris Fletcher needs to talk to Marsau.
Meanwhile, Martell is out and about with Chris Fletcher. Chris and Martell are out looking for a venue for Martell’s wine event and touring a site. While on the site, Martell explains how things are with Uncle Sam after their tense conversation in Atlanta. Sam isn’t holding a grudge and Martell invited him to the Huntsville event.
While telling him about the trip to Destin and Marsau stopping by, Chris says he needs to see Marsau. Chris didn’t like being used as an alibi regarding his trip to Atlanta.
Melody feels blindsided by Marsau.
Eventually, Melody arrives at Blaque and Marsau is ready to get their conversation over with. After exchanging pleasantries, Marsau lets her know about his talk with Mark. This seemingly blindsides Melody. Melody wouldn’t have even shown up if Marsau told her about this in the first place. She would have declined the invitation in that case.
The next day, Kimmi and Maurice are surprised by Marsau. Marsau offered to cook dinner for them. They all also invited Martell and Melody over. While he cooks, LaTisha recaps their surprise link-up with Martell and Melody. She also brings up Marsau scheduling a meeting with Melody, someone who called LaTisha an enemy.
In their interview, LaTisha asks Marsau why couldn’t he talk to Melody about Mark at this point instead of ruining their date night.
Kimmi informs Martell and Melody about her cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Eventually, Martell shows up as dinner is served. Of course, LaTisha and Kimmi ask him about dating Sheree Whitfield. Martell tells them they’re friends and they aren’t putting titles on anything. But he doesn’t want to say much more as Melody is arriving shortly.
When Melody shows up, Martell points out that this date would’ve been their 14th wedding anniversary.
Next, Martell invites all of them to his wine event. Melody is noncommittal. She’s mad that he shared that Melody tested positive for Covid with his son’s mother. In her interview, she says this demonstrates that Martell can’t be trusted.
Later in the dinner, Kimmi tells Martell and Melody about her breast cancer diagnosis and both are floored. She explains why she withheld this information from them until she was ready.
Both of them hug Kimmi and this dinner leaves Kimmi feeling positive. She believes they all have each other’s back in spite of the tension.

Why would Martel tell tell his other baby mama about Melody anyway? Martell is messing things up between him and Melody. Melody do what you do and continue co parenting with Martel and no more family gatherings. Melody, it hurts to know he did that but don’t start getting mad and talking crazy. Treat him with kindness and you will see how much better it will be for you, make him look like a fool not you.
That scene of LaTisha having an entire meltdown over Marsau talking to Melody was absolutely cringeworthy to watch.
