Ashley Darby’s friend sticks to her story about Chris Bassett.
The drama on the current season of “Real Housewives of Potomac” won’t be slowing down anytime soon. In fact, Candiace Dillard Bassett will once again have to deal with the rumors surrounding Chris Bassett. As we reported, Ashley Darby‘s friend accused Chris of flirting with her while they were all at Karen Huger’s Spring Bling shindig. And the woman will make the accusations again on the upcoming episode. Wendy Osefo’s husband Eddie Osefo is also mentioned.
In a trailer for the next episode, she tells Gizelle Bryant, “Okay, so I’m at the bar. And all of a sudden I see Chris. So he comes over, you know, wanna like…like…and then Happy Eddie comes over…”
Gizelle then interjects, “Lawd, chile! Not Happy Eddie!” After some laughs are had, Ashley’s friend sticks to her version of events, “He was very flirty.”
Candiace Dillard Bassett shuts down Ashley Darby’s friend.
Karen is in the process of being firmly on Mia Thornton’s bad side after Gizelle tells Mia that Karen told her she and Gordon Thornton hooked up with Peter Thomas’ girlfriend.
Mia decides to confront Karen about this at her live show event. While Karen is answering questions from the audience, Mia asks, “I have a question. What do you do when a friend of yours runs their mouth?”
Later on, Candiace is made aware that Ashley’s friend is nearby. Robyn Dixon says, “That’s Ashley’s friend that was spreading the rumor.”
Candiace asks, “Is this the one?”
Ashley’s friend is later seen asking, “Do you want to chat with me first one on one?”
Candiace is not interested in talking to Ashley’s friend because she thinks the woman is lying about her interaction with Chris.
She says, “I’m not talking to that ‘Sesame Street’ character. So tell that ***** to stay away from me. Don’t.”

Very oddly, in Candiace’s defense, that does look like some kind of Sesame Street character of some sort.
