Charrisse and Karen just can’t hash things out.
Karen and Charrisse continue their explosive argument. Charrisse doesn’t understand why Karen yelled for her to keep her mother’s name out of her mouth. But Karen stands firm. And she explains that she finds it offensive that Charrisse used attending her mother’s funeral as proof that she was a good friend to Karen. At this point, it’s pretty clear that Karen and Charrisse will not be moving forward.
Jacqueline and Mia’s friendship falls apart.
Mia and Jacqueline have a side conversation after they argued in front of the other women. Jacqueline is really upset that Mia accused her of sleeping with married men. She denies ever doing this. And she reminds Mia that she started sleeping with Gordon while he was married. Mia says she has owned this already, so it’s not a big deal to her. Regardless, Jacqueline says Mia crossed the line and lied. Their friendship is officially over.
Despite all of the drama, a good moment does happen between Candiace and Ashley. Karen and Wendy push them to talk about the root of their issues. Candiace says it just seems like Ashley sabotages things after they agree to move forward. Ashley admits she does this because she’s still upset about how Candiace treated her after she had a miscarriage.
Luckily, both women agree to not bring up their past issues again. And moving forward means they can’t stay angry about what happened in the past.
Karen is on Robyn’s radar.
Robyn updates the ladies about her new wedding plans. She and Juan will marry in Jamaica a day after they watch their friends tie the knot there. In a green screen interview, Karen says she really doubts Robyn and Juan will actually do this.
As the night goes on, Gizelle attempts to call out Karen for her blowup with Charrisse. She says Charrisse is the real queen of Potomac because she put the group together for the show. Robyn interjects to say that Karen wants to be off limits. In a green screen interview, Robyn calls Karen “crafty.” And Robyn thinks Karen uses her family members to deflect.
Charrisse tells the ladies that she worked hard to put the group together. And Robyn says she thinks Karen doesn’t want Charrisse around because Karen is the only one that Charrisse didn’t recommend because she didn’t know Karen at the time.
Robyn goes on to warn Karen that people will see the real her one day. And she’s not genuine.
Mia and Wendy continue to have tension.
Wendy and Mia once again clash as their blowup is brought up. Mia says while she shouldn’t have thrown the drink, Wendy was wrong because she slandered Gordon by saying that they sleep with women and men. Wendy says that the real issue is Mia is jealous of her life. And it shows in her actions. Mia walks away and Wendy laughs.
