On the recent episode of “Power Book II: Ghost,” Lorenzo is still trying to cover his tracks. He realizes Monet would kill him if she finds out he’s the person who killed Zeke. He uses GTG’s attack on Drew as an opening to make sure that no one else ever figures out the truth. However, Cane is able to piece it together. And he uses this to force Lorenzo to sell Noma’s drugs.
Meanwhile, Detective Whitman is paying close attention to Monet. In fact, he believes she’s in charge of things. Not Tariq. And Saxe is getting the itch to focus on Tariq again.
As for Lauren, she remembers that Effie nearly killed her. But it will take more convincing for her to believe Tariq is in the drug game.
