On the recent episode of “Power Book II: Ghost,” Tariq is not able to get the conversation he had with Lauren out of his mind. He feels as if Brayden and Effie have betrayed him. And he can’t believe they attempted to kill Lauren behind his back. So now it’s time to get even. He starts by beating up Brayden as soon as he sees him. As for Effie, he drives her to the scene of the crime and dumps her. To make matters sting even more, Tariq also kicks Effie and Brayden out of the business.
Interestingly enough, a visit from a loved one makes Tariq realize it’s really time for him to get out of the dangerous business he’s in.
The Tejada family is preparing to bury Lorenzo. Cane is starting to suspect that Monet had something to do with Lorenzo’s death. Dru hasn’t put the pieces together so he starts a war with the Russians without realizing his right-hand man (and boo) Gordo is Lorenzo’s killer.
