LHHATL Recap: Things Worsen Between Erica Dixon & Bambi + Karlie Redd & Shekinah Clash

It’s time for Spice to give her children an important update.

Spice has a sit-down with her mother and children to give them an update about her health. She confirms her doctor has found another hernia. So she will have to get surgery, again. This news brings her kids to tears. But she assures them that she will be just fine. In a green screen interview, Spice says it’s tough trying to look brave in front of them when she’s fearful herself. However, she’s going to always make them feel like they have no need to worry. 

Bambi and Erica Dixon still don’t get along. 

Rasheeda catches up with Erica Dixon. They discuss Scrappy and Bambi’s divorce, as well as co-parenting drama. Dixon says their daughter Emani really doesn’t like Bambi. So she likely won’t go to Bambi’s house to visit her siblings once the divorce is final. In a green screen interview, Dixon alleges that Bambi didn’t feed Emani when she was over once. And the excuse was Emani never left the bedroom. 

Dixon also says that Bambi has bashed her and Scrappy in front of Emani. So Emani wants nothing to do with her. 

Rasheeda is shocked to hear this about Bambi. She tells Dixon that Bambi has always come off as such a nurturing mother. Regardless, Dixon thinks Bambi is far from nurturing. 

In a green screen interview, Rasheeda discusses the situation. And she says the adults have to come to some sort of resolution because the negativity will spill into the children if they don’t. 

Is Scrappy being messy?

Bambi and Jessica make candles and talk about their life updates. Jessica is moving forward with fibroid surgery. As for Bambi, she suspects Scrappy is trying to get her to break. He’s hanging around people she doesn’t get along with and bashing her to them. She notes Scrappy and Dixon took Emani to Puerto Rico recently and posted this all over social media. So it’s obvious that Scrappy is trying to stir drama. 

Yandy accompanies Spice to her doctor’s appointment. Spice receives some very good news. Her doctor tells her she can wait six months to a year before she has more surgery. And they can remove the hernias and gall bladder without causing much scarring. 

Karlie Redd shoots a music video for her song with Destra. It’s her birthday, so she’s grateful when Meda stops by to surprise her with a gift. She’s been feeling a little lonely as of late. It seems like everyone is mad at her. 

She thinks Shekinah has been working hard to turn everyone against her. And she’s hurt that Spice ended their friendship without giving her a chance to fix things. 

Did Karma come for Bambi?

It’s the evening of Kirk and Rasheed’s reopening event for their bistro. They are now shifting away from the nightlife and focusing on breakfast and brunch. 

Bambi arrives and has a chat with Yung Joc and Kendra about Scrappy’s fallout with Erica Mena and Sierra. Joc feels they were wrong to confront Scrappy at that time and setting. Bambi agrees and says she asked them not to do it. But their emotions got the best of them. 

Dixon has her own conversation with Yandy. Dixon tells her that she’s happy to be in a good place with Scrappy. She was surprised when he popped up in Puerto Rico for Emani’s birthday. She can’t help but gloat about his divorce because it’s Bambi’s karma. 

Things worsen between Bambi and Dixon.

Rasheeda decides to push Dixon and Bambi to address their problems. Bambi says Emani can come to her house at any time to see her siblings. Dixon then says Emani doesn’t want to go over there when Bambi is home because she mistreats her. Bambi then says that Dixon was the one who was investigated for abuse, not her. This sets off Dixon. She says Emani never made the accusations and they came from Scrappy and Bambi. Bambi then says that Emani confided in the police when Erica came over with a police escort. And a police report was filed. 

Dixon stands up wanting to put her hands on Bambi. However, security quickly restrains her and Bambi tells them Dixon isn’t going to do anything. And she tells Dixon she knows where to find her. 

In a green screen interview, Dixon says Bambi and Scrappy tried to take Emani from her. Scrappy eventually apologized, but Bambi didn’t. So she has a lot of anger for Bambi. 

Bambi shows Rasheeda what she says is a paper of a police report filed by Scrappy seeking full custody. She says Dixon went to Puerto Rico to be with Scrappy when he is the one who tried to take Emani from her. So thinks the truth is Dixon will always be mad at her because Scrappy married her and not Dixon. 

On her way out, Bambi tells Rasheeda to stop trying to make her hash things out with Dixon. They will never be on good terms. 

Shekinah and Karlie clash. 

Karlie is confronted by Yandy regarding Spice’s time in the hospital. Spice gets upset when Karlie says that Meda and Spice told her not to tell them she was in the hospital. Spice says she didn’t say anything because she was out of it. When Shekinah interjects, Karlie snaps. She accuses Shekinah of being a fake friend and sleeping with married men. And she also claims Shekinah didn’t show up to the hospital because they weren’t filming the show at that time. Shekinah storms off and Karlie has no remorse.
